I remember begging my folks for a pogo stick for Xmas as a 12 year old kid.
Finally got one. It took me about a week of frustration to get beyond
that 1st bounce. I finally sussed it though. That made my day.
I still have one hanging on the wall in the garage, (not gas powered)
and go for a bounce up the driveway once in awhile, just for a shiggle.
The neighbors must think I’m crazy. (I am actually)
