Mt. Gox trustee extends repayment deadline to October 2024.Mt. Gox Rehabilitation Trustee has once again extended the deadline for repayments to its creditors.
The bankrupt crypto exchange has changed the deadline of the Base Repayment, the Early Lump-Sum Repayment and Intermediate Repayment from October 31, 2023 to October 31, 2024.
However, the latest update on Mt. Gox website notes that the rehabilitation creditors who have provided the Trustee with the necessary information will receive repayments in sequence as early as the end of this year. No Problema!!!! I am both student and teacher, and I give myself a one-year extension to turn in my homework... and next year, I will do it again. It does "seem" that they (referring MTGOX trustee.. don't kill me) are making progress, but geez, I thought that it was getting closed to being paid out in 2021.. so that would have been a bit more than 7 years, but now we are going on 10 years.. from the shut down of the site.. in February 2014. If they pay out they can't keep using it to fud the price down. Good point. However I could also imagine there being some legal battles going on in the background we don't know of. btw, has China allowed Bitcoin to be able to ban it again? I feel like I am being played. I think yes they have banned it once again this September. I'm pretty sure that such ban was imposed only to promote the CBDC that they're going to release. We don't really care much about China's bans on Bitcoin and crypto-currencies these days because it is a common thing for them. Great!! At least "someone": a) knows what is happening in the world out there relevant to china and bitcoin and/or b) did not give Gachapin "the run-around"  btw, has China allowed Bitcoin to be able to ban it again?
The possibility of such a thing happening again because it is said in some news reports that Hong Kong opened a crypto exchange license ahead of retail trading and it has been supported by China even though we know they are one of the most vocal countries against crypto especially for bitcoin. If you ever get the opportunity to sit in an air conditioned tractor, and mow 65 acres or so in a day, I highly recommend trying it.
It's like moving meditation. Very relaxing.
So nice getting back to nature.
* A LOT * of deer spotted over the past two seasons, and spotted 3 bucks on cam the other day. Our land is sanctuary grounds for deer, so love to see them settling in on the outskirts.
The coyotes and hogs have returned now that it's getting cooler, and looks like I'll be needing to bring my rifles with me this time of year, and have them in the tractor with me.
I don't relish the thought of culling invasive species, but the coyotes killed one of our calves this past season, and the hogs just fuck up fields everywhere.

I received the email today confirming the mtgox rumor going around that they will not be distributing any BTC until October of 2024. This is good news for people who were worried about a crash incoming as it kicks this downward pressure down the road a bit. I suspect by then we’ll have an ETF and prices will already be on the way up.

Are the hogs good for eating, have you eaten a wild invasive hog? I saw wild hogs near Marseille FR, don't know how much of a "problem" it is outside of the US |

got the email too. not exactly they said - those whose payment info is good could get payouts as early as the end of this (2023) year. for those whose info could not be verified the repayment period will be stretched out to october 2024. this is at least better than holding everyone who does have good info in the system up, which is what they have been doing. but i will believe that when i have the coin in my own wallet. |
