Another fun fact :
Christianity also revolitionized the Music and made the world more bearable and fun.
Happy Holidays Beautiful Christians !
Well, then i'm probably missing the fun?! As an ex-member of the Christian Church, but as a man who is acting on Christian values, more than less, i can only say that the Christian Church is not acting very Christian, probably almost never did. I believe Jesus Christ would turn in his grave if he knew how things turned out regarding "Christianity". I wonder if Jesus Christ, if still alive, would be a Bitcoiner... I bet you are mising out on a lot. I bet you werent very Christian either.. It is not about the Church either dumbo.. I believe the same for Muslims how it all turned out. Cant cure human nature eh dumbo?!? Imagine thinking Jesus of all People would need or Have Bljatcoijns.. Listen to yourself 😆 Spoiler alert.. He would snap it out of existence. oh dumbo dumbo.. whats gonna come from you huh 😆 Okay I'm gonna bite because it's holiday season so I'll give you a reply. Bro, the sooner you break away from believing in a magic sky fairy to solve all your problems, the sooner you will become a little smarter. I'm not holding my breath though. Most folks who break out of your stage of believing in nonsense don't do it from hearing it from other folks trying to tell them they are not thinking rationally. That just makes them double down. No, they do it on there own volition, studying the evidence etc. I can only plant the seed. Good luck bro. I wish you the best growing older and wiser. Merry Xmas Well fucking said!

Well, a pre installed chip in a tire valve is far more likely than an invisible sky daddy, so there is that. (Even a fat, bearded dude in a red suit, shimmying down your chimney is far more likely than an almighty, omnipotent fairy in the sky who answers all your prayers) GO BITCOIN

storage is cheap
This is the truth. I've run pruned nodes for reasons but if you don't need to, there's little point. On the other hand, if you don't need that historical data, there's not much point to keeping it. It's a shame UTXO checkpoints have never been developed.

That is the one thing that wasn't taken care of in the Bitcoin conception. Size of the blockchain. Sure, storage is cheap (at the time), but if the BC gets to sizes that are no more manageable conveniently at the private level, and the initial blockchain download becomes so effin big that it takes months on a standard connection (let's say, for now... 50mbps or so), less and less private full nodes will be added to the network, while the mining companies continue growing. In the end, a few big miners survive. I am thinking about slow, indirect movements towards decentralization.
Some of these things are orthogonal. All you really need is the UTXO set if you've got no interest in the historical data. You could start out with a pruned blockchain if necessary (you'd want to wait a bit to make sure you were on the correct chain) or if UTXO checkpoints ever become a thing, that would be another option. Theoretically, miners don't even need that. I agree, but look ahead under the fact that Moore's Law is broken. Even if storage/cent and speed grows in a linear way, the blockchain will grow faster.
The blockchain is growing linearly (1MB and max 4MB Segwit nonsense every 10 minutes) and will continue to do so unless the protocol is changed again.

I would say the odds would be exactly equal. Kind of by definition. Like math. 1+2 = 3 2+1 = 3 Jesus had saints santa is a saint. Pretty sure if 1 is real so is the other. Unless I have a logic flaw. Although it may be more accurate to say. Santa = true than Jesus must be true. and If Jesus is true Santa may be true. as technically Santa would be a subset of Jesus's master set of saints. that is probably more logical.

Saint Nicholas was definitively real. Now, it depends on whether you believe sainthood is some kind of divine bestowment or something awarded by a church run and managed by mortal and flawed men. But there you go.

But there you go. Nicholas of Myra and Jesus of Nazareth were both real men. Divine bestowment of either one by power-hungry, revenue-based organizations is what's up for debate

Indeed... Adam and Eve, Noah's ark and talking snakes could have been real too. I don't know, I wasn't there. Yeah, I have no doubt back in the olden days some dude in sandals went around preaching his stuff. Just like these televangelists do today and suck in the gullible. Difference being, back than science was basically non existent, so I don't blame the average goat herder for believing every word out of this Jesus character's mouth and becoming a cult follower. Then the apostles (or whatever you call em) assembled their fairy tales into a book of made up bullshit, sold it to the masses, and voila, Christianity. 2000 years later and still to this day, its the biggest hoax ever pulled on mankind... AKA religion. One would think in this day and age of science and technology etc. folks would be laughing at the silly beliefs the ancients had. But you would be wrong. 2023, and a vast swath of the worlds population still believe in superstitious nonsense.

One time I gave 20+ merits here to an account I thought was here out of their own general interest... they joined a signature campaign within a week, and later it turned out to be the 5th alt account of a banned user (they got their ban removed and are still posting here under at least 2 other accounts, but that's not the point).
I remember I think he is naim027. I remember his story how he got perban first, then unban, then again ban (with alternative accounts confession). If I am not wrong. I mentioned naim027 for Negotiation. He should go through his story.
