Maybe this thread comes true for December

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5472517.0

"If we do the 2015 pattern from sept to dec we will rock 2 more months.

35000 x 1.21 = 42350 by dec 1
42350 x 1.1375 = 48173 by jan 1.

opinons and guesses?"

Made on NOV 1 2023.

I actually think we can get to it this year.

EFT and fee wars should make Jan 2024 wild.

I wonder if we could have a pre ½ ing ath say 80k by march

and crazy numbers to follow. Would be nice.

If we compare dec 2017 price of 19.5k to dec  2023 price of 43.5 k we are better than inflation but not by a lot.

we have grown about 15% a year since dec 2017 on average.

We’ll hold your horses buddy. Bitcoin is rallying hard. Back to $44K and seemingly once again headed higher… A lot of people saying we’re 2-3 weeks away from seeing a spot ETF approval. I wouldn’t be surprised if the rally continued until then as the market buys the rumor in preparation to sell the news.

Hmm, maybe we will witness a rare case of "buying the rumor, buying more on the news"?

...

For the first time I have seen TV ads for an upcoming (we hope anyway) Bitcoin ETF.  I saw three ads on two different channels just this morning (Bloomberg and Fox Business) from Bitwise. They seem very confident...

Previously the only ads I saw were for the Grayscale BTC trust.  <--- and their discount to BTC price is narrowing, meaning Wall Streeters likely think the SEC will approve.

Some try to be a little Robin to Batman/btc...geez, peeps seem to be buying into it en masse...
I am looking into LN since "regular" fees are screwed now (I see a $28.28/tx number).

I haven’t seen any ads for an ETF yet but if this is actually true that’s pretty huge news. While I can understand them wanting to get ahead of everyone else by advertising a little early, I would agree that this is a sign of confidence as finance companies aren’t really in the business of wasting money advertising non-existent products.
