In the meantime, the SEC approved the ETH ETF. Not that this is going to change anything. Who gives a fuck about that shitcoin?
My interest in Eth ended in 2022 when Eth 2.0 was released and they moved from PoW to PoS. That shows how centralised that coin is and controlled by few developers around the world.

It is already at $68.70k, and coincidentally I was seeing and learning about the term "short squeeze" which can be a catalyst and can indicate that Everything can be Directed towards us having the bullish momentum that is needed.(First time that a short can mean something positive.)
It can only because it gets wiped out.

Someone told him about an ETF? Yeah, it's a strange coincidence. His last thought was probably, "Guys, you're killing me here!" or more specifically, 「みんな、ここで私を殺すつもりだよ!」 Is that Google translate? It sounds a bit off. Yeah it was google translate and it doesn't have the proper tense. How about this: 「みんな、あなたはここで私を殺しています!」 Disclaimer: My Japanese is not that up to date, so we get into borderline SOMA territory. This version does sound better, but there's no exact equivalence between English present continuous and Japanese -しています form. Besides, there are still too many pronouns in the phrase. I suspect the passive form of the verb 'kill' with a "damage done" aspect and a subjective point of view may be more idiomatic - something like 結局殺されてしまいそうだ - "It looks like I'm getting killed" おれ結局殺されちゃうよ。- "I'll end up being killed." Thanks! I guess not everything from English translates well to other languages and vice versa. Guess I should be careful trying to kid around when I travel in case "I'll end up being killed."

There is no cap of coins in Eth. Too many coins are in circulation, almost 120 million Eth as of now. Ethereum only moves up when Bitcoin goes up and vice versa. I have yet to see Ethereum going up due to it's own feature or some news related to Eth.

for a fun rabbit hole lookup "game stop short squeeze" in your favorite search engine. holding your own keys is more or less like direct registering shares, ie they are off the market and cant be "lent out" or whatever..

I just spent half an hour looking for my post calling them out on that but I can't find shit on this board anymore. There were several of us who felt the same way at the time and refused to buy into that crap. Too bad. We could have made a killing. We were offered a chance to participate in that pre-mining orgy by investing bitcoins toward dirt cheap ethers. Not wanting to dirty my karma, I refused the offer to buy ETH for pennies. _____________ What's ironic about that talk in 2014 by Vitalik Buterin that revealed his plans for Ethereum is that it occurred at a place called "Bitcoin Decentral" on Spadina Ave in Toronto. It started as a place for Bitcoin enthusiasts to gather, drink beer, hold meetups, and share ideas. It also housed Toronto's first Bitcoin ATM. Not too many months later the leaseholder, Anthony Di Iorio, dropped the word "Bitcoin" from the name, pulled up stakes and moved up the street to an upstairs location above a pizzeria. There were no more meetups and beer. They were replaced by rows of desks staffed by Ethereum developers. The BTC ATM at the top of the stairs did a booming business despite the fact that fees were higher than at another BTC ATM a half a block away. First mover advantage I suppose. When I asked Anthony whether he was reducing the fees to compete, he coldly replied that he had no intention of doing that and he even increased his fees slightly, saying there was nothing stopping me from going to the competition. Long gone was the commitment to developing a Bitcoin community. It was all about greed. Decentral, my ass.

So back to 1965 one kid named Alfred (long Italian name I am not giving out) was attacked by 7 dogs. He got 117 stitches he lived and the scars healed well as most bites were on his head. 3 or 4 Italian wise guys went to the hole and shot 17 strays to death. We never had a stray dog problem again.
Sometimes you've gotta clean up the vermin. Well, in Romania, that's never easy. You have to fight with bleeding hearts, international NGOs and lawyers while people are regularly bitten, attacked and sometimes killed. There's enough material I'm sure to write volumes about the bullshit in Romania around stray dogs. Shortly after the fall of communism, lack of funding was the main stumbling block but any time there was an attempt to solve the problem, it would get bogged down in litigation and bureaucracy (thanks to international NGOs and assorted famous people) so the population of strays has waxed and waned over the years. Sterilization and adoption just doesn't work once the problem gets so big. There was a woman out for a jog who was killed by a pack of stray dogs just last year in the north-west of the Bucharest. Turns out she was attacked less than a year earlier in the same area but was saved by a couple of cyclists who happened to be nearby. (Why!?) Romania needs a few "wise guys".
