Promises, promises. Anything to sway a couple extra votes. Promise of what, exactly? Pure nonsense. There is no more "policy" around Bitcoin that is needed nor required. The idea that more "policy" marks the beginning of some kind of adoption is equally laughably stupid. Adoption has been with us for a very long time now. Promises not to dictate policy through executive order and dictatorial arms-length gov't organizations but rather to engage the "crypto" community to help develop policy. I agree we don't need more policy and I know you wont fall for that but there are many eligible (okay weak-minded) voters who will.

Why is there so much noise here? i don't understand.
Because when you're not posting AI nonsense, you're just copy/pasting stuff from Twitter or news articles. Say something from your own brain and heart instead of out of the desire to accumulate merits. I'm certain you have at least 1 other account on this forum as you focus solely on exploiting the generosity of the loose merit givers here. We don't need more bots, we need original thinkers.

I think maybe because is near election season that is why the Biden team is bringing this approach in policy formulations, politicians always come up with strategies to help them win elections. President Biden knows the importance of the Bitcoin community, hence he has decided to come in with this approach.

Everyone who ever merited this account should think twice about what they are doing with their lives, and know I will never really respect you. I mean I'll try, but it will be hard. Dammit merited twice over time…. But good to let us know if it’s an unhealthy account Yeah me too. If only there were a way to flag/tag an account with some sort of trust indicator we could look at to prevent such things. Me too. Once. He posted a beautiful haiku. It could have been AI-generated... Many thanks to nutildah & Hueristic for letting us know. I wonder what he did... Quite a few of us merited that haiku. Is it wrong to merit a bot if its AI produces something beautiful? That haiku was merit-worthy for sure. It's just that we merited the messenger (a merit whore, allegedly), not the poor AI that produced it. Fool me once...

Maybe I am being a bit overly picky about the use of "Dr" or any need to agree to describing such status, even if some of the articles and even the judge had chosen to use such a title when describing CSW in ruling against him. Sometimes courts will go out of their way to make sure that they do not appear bias, which might partly explain the court's use of the Dr title for CSW. i am from an Arabic origin. In Arab culture, we use some qualities that seem highly appreciated, in order to belittle a person and perhaps despise him as well. It does not mean, for example, that we might say to someone, “How smart you are,” when the meaning is to mock his stupidity. I mean, I used the adjective “doctor” as a sarcasm and not because he really deserves that adjective. I hope the idea is clear now I wonder what the legal cassation arguments will be to invalidate the ruling after all the detailed evidence presented by the court. I also do not think that the defense team or the court overlooked or forgot any of the details. I do not understand why some people insist on clinging to allegations that have been proven false beyond a reasonable doubt.
Beyond a reasonable doubt is a criminal standard, and so far, these have not been criminal proceedings, so the standard is not as high.. The standard in this Craig Wright (CSW) would be clear and convincing or preponderance of the evidence or some variation that is not quite as high as the criminal standard. I can understand this to some extent. But I cannot ignore that this fallacy that Dr. Wright worked to market for years has made him a global figure, and even trusted in many circles. These allegations made him one of the richest people in crypto, and there are still those who are willing to risk their savings because they believe these allegations. It is true that everything Dr. Wright did may not rise to the level of a perfect crime, but its consequences were disastrous for many people as well. There is a moral responsibility in any case.
