The ONLY Legit coin besides Bitcoin is Monero and that only because it has privacy tech that was slated for Bitcoin (as can be easily researched by reading Satoshi and Hals posts) that was never implemented and if bitcoin ever implements that tech then even Monero will become worthless.
If Bitcoin would be as private as Monero, governments would fight it much harder than they do already.
Wait until they figure out that Bitcoin can be swapped to other blockchain-compatible crypto, such as Monero. And there is nothing they can do because it is a decentralized technology.
That's why more and more centralized exchanges are delisting Monero. That's okay though, keeping Monero on an exchange made no sense anyway.

I would love seeing Binance and Coinbase delisting Bitcoin. It'd be way too fun.
It would definitely be good for decentralization!

What's madness actually behind it, tryanna promote shit coin for own benefit I dunno?
https://talkimg.com/images/2024/06/19/hAQYJ.jpeg

It is a quasi legit shit coin.

Ie it supports helium mining.

There are over 500,000 hotspots in North America.

Basically pow coins are a step above pos.

Btc
Other pow
Pos

Is the proper order.

But this will, surely enrage the btc maxers

Looks like the markets don’t care what doodle-bear rappers do 😉

If that's your criteria, what about Litecoin?

That might be true but there is a CORE TEAM that manages Monero. The Core Team is a close group where new one can join through invitation only. Though they on website that Core Team doesn't get any financial incentive, one need to believe that fact if he thinks Monero is as decentralzied as BTC is which I think is not true.

Quote
As stewards of the project, the Core Team manages and maintains infrastructure where centralization cannot be avoided (domains, website, github repositories...). Its members act as mediators as they see fit and aim to weigh consensus in the community, perpetuating the quality interactions that made Monero the successful project it is today. The Core Team does not and has never received any financial compensation.

Nobody is saying Monero is as decentralized as Bitcoin. Besides, Bitcoin also has a "core team" of developers. Its extremely difficult for a random developer to get a commit added to the Bitcoin Core GitHub repository.

Its far more likely that Bitcoin would eventually adopt MWeb ala Litecoin than use Monero's CryptoNote & RingCT.
