I think the big funds shorting futures somewhat took the sting out of the actual distribution. They’ve already made their money and will now use that selling of billions of dollars worth of BTC to cover their shorts and bank profits. Thats what I believe anyway… The big boys got a step ahead while everyone was in denial this event would occur.

I still believe we’re above $100K in 9 months.

that sounds very likely, as this is probably the safest strategy for them. nobody knows how many of the distributed coins will actually be sold

TL;DR It will START on Oct 31 and will continue peacemeal for 3 mo. If you divide 9 bil by 90 days, it is 100 mil/day on average (0.25% of the daily volume) even if it will be all sold.
In all practicality, a non-event.

Well of course it was all a ruse... after the double top, we are still in the downward "dump" phase of the PnD they started on 2/25.

The dumpage is mere technical trading, nothing more.

The bleeding won't stop until all the shorting back down is essentially complete.

IMO, we won't start to see upwards until early next year, not until the absolute dumpster fire of an upcoming presidential election has run its course.

Well if Trump wins I think we rally right after say Nov 10-15

If Trump loses to Biden,Harris,(unknown) I see a mess for quite a while.

If Trump dies (he is 78 as of June 14)  say now til Sept 1.  I think they will find a replacement that will lose

If Trump dies After Sept 1 and before the actual election. Not sure what will happen.


If Biden dies I think Harris will be elected
If Biden resigns I think Harris will lose.


Most likely I don't have it covered and some other shit will happen.


Maybe monster x will attack and Godzilla will try to save us.

Beyond my subjective thoughts, the only objective thing I can point out, that may be of interest,
to the people beyond the shores where I live,
is that the advertisement spend from Labour looked like it was 10:1 compared to
any of the other parties and that is something I've never seen before.
(online ads - physical leaflets through the letterbox etc)

My thoughts:
The probable raising of capital gains tax to align with income tax levels worries me when realising any (future) BTC profits.

But then the last shower of assholes was already ensuring there was no CGT exemption left
and massively increased income tax by freezing the bands for 7 years.

The pendulum will probably shift back to conservatives in 5 years I'm guessing,
unless we (and the Labour party) get lucky with an affluence boost.
That would probably be down to external forces I assume.

The "making of" movie: Saving Mr. Banks with Tom Hanks as Walt Disney is a recommended watch from me.
It made me appreciate Mary Poppins a lot more.

Edit: It doesn't actually go into making the Mary Poppins movie; it's probably the wrong description I wrote, but it's more about
Disney convincing the original writer he was the right one to make a film and the ideas he and his employees had about the songs.
It's a good watch.
