The fall of empires are always a mess. It seems to me that the US has reached cesspit scum swamp levels never before seen in its history.

That's a single person thing. When I'm talking corruption etc, I'm talking all levels of government, it's institutions, corporations, media, everything. Donald turned his head a bit just the moment the attacker decided to fire the first shot. Fractions of a second later the bullet hit.
What is out of most news is that a man in the line of fire actually got killed. I don't know which sucks more, the attack or particularly the death of the spectator.
All in all, this is gonna heat things up, and i hope we don't get too many bad future news.

Media is another business, after all. All eyes are on Trump at this moment. Maybe they will investigate it later to see if anyone else was harmed or not. But Trump already authorizes a GoFundMe page for victims of shootings.
