You can tell that yesterday's little stock market tantrum was just a typical controlled reset, a speed bump, and not a real "market crash"...

...because Gold barely moved.

If it had been like The Big Short, Gold would have crashed down to something like 2000-1800, or below that even.

Like I said it was a message to the Fed.

Cut the rates motherfucker or else.

It did allow me to get about 0.05 btc on the cheap.

at whyfhy  here is a good smooth 99 dollar whisky wait  for it

FOUND IT for 79

https://www.totalwine.com/spirits/scotch/single-malt/hibiki-japanese-harmony/p/150269750?s=1503&igrules=true

Smooth finish I drink 2 or 3  oz via sipping it straight.

The one below is better but costly I got some at $350 price

https://whiskyandwhiskey.com/products/teitessa-30-year-old-single-grain-japanese-whisky-750ml

But compared to paying 80-100 vs 350 I rather have a few bottles of the cheaper one.

I have had some Scottish ones the were also good.

Since I found out about  the diabetes i drink only straight liquors and 2 or 3 oz limit for the day. Also not every day.

They serve saki (rice whiskey) cold because its straight up garbage and that's the only way its remotely palatable.

what you been smokin?

[..stuff..]

I am melting.

what have you been smoking?

i mean i needed acid to get that effect back in the day

shrooms. Used to work well for me

Skleen was my choice.

Not familiar with the term. Suppose I could google it.

LOL, probably not as Jimbo has proven.

Do you sniff it like glue?

LOL

Slang for Mescaline, pretty common for those in the know.

Otherwise know as Mesc, microdot, double barrel and i'm sure a few I don't know. Wink

yeah I knew it wasn't the soap.

Acid
mescaline
mushrooms

I did them on and off from 15 to 24 old or 1972 to 1981.

Pot
hash
hash oil from 1972 to 1991

various other stuff from 1972 to  1981.

I Still drink mostly good Japanese whisky.

Yeah the 70's had the best Hallucinogens!

It became tough in the 80's to find Mesc and impossible after about 96.

I'm always amazed how people always say acid and Mesc are the same.

Basically its like telling me you never did Mescaline.

I can't even do Acid anymore, last 2 time were near death, one for me and one for someone else.

Acid is fucking dangerous, Mesc is not.

It seems we have different opinions/history with drugs (including one of the worst - alcohol).

Sake is a generic term that means "alcoholic beverage". What we call sake, they specifically call Nihon-shu. It's more like wine than like whiskey. Approx 30-36 proof range. It is usually served cold, like white wine would. There are several types and brands, kara-kuchi (dry) or ama-kuchi (mellow). The good ones are generally kara-kuchi. I actually like it.

As for whiskey, there are several Japanese brands from cheap through decently priced, up to preposterous. It's just whisk(e)y, nothing like Nihon-shu. I like Nikka, very mild, mid-priced.

I'm always amazed how people always say acid and Mesc are the same.
Basically its like telling me you never did Mescaline.
Pure (synthetic) Mesc is sharper and "brighter". I prefer the variegated, evolving cactus experience with several alkaloids taking over in turn.  But agreed, nothing like acid. It's more dreamlike and empathic. Tree hugging feeling.

Sure it was acid? How much did you take? 100ug or so shouldn't harm, unless it's some dodgy surrogate. Such surrogates were frequent in the 90s and early 2000s. Some of them were good, some were nasty, but all of them lack the sweet linearity of effects that acid has.

One of my lifetime goals is to visit Japan (my dream since I was a little kid). Even stay there for a while if I can (I know it's VERY expensive, but Bitcoin can take care of that). Planning to do it soon, hopefully right after pulling the "fuck-you" lever.

Until then, I can read your posts and dream...

I honestly hope on a DIP as this… you just convert all your side cash into BTC at a one time event and forgot the ladder strategy for a few months….

When another major dip occurs do the same thing…

I refuse to believe that the ladder thing would work more efficiently…
Or am I really wrong?

Yes

How much did you take?

Well the last time I almost killed a guy that attacked me, It was way too much as he had lied and OD'd me.

He was a punk that thought he was a tough guy..

Believe me you don't want to sit in jail being called a murderer by the pigs.

I was lucky he pulled through, longest week of my life.

I've read that LSD builds up in your system and I believe it and will not knowingly do it again.

Not that expensive anymore, except for accommodation and transportation. If you manage to rent an apartment for a whole month or more, it won't cost you an arm and a leg. Either one arm or one leg should suffice.

I don't think it does. The tolerance builds though, so you need higher doses to get the same effects. Tolerance resets in about 2 weeks.

The problem with selling the top and buying the dip is if it never dips again.

But buying the dip is a great strategy that just means you have to monitor the price constantly or keep ladder buys on exchanges.

Just buying at regular intervals and removing to a cold wallet is the Safest way to accumulate.

A lot of bad acid is simply acid that has been poorly manufactured or mishandled.

Pure acid is colorless. When LSD25 is exposed to heat or light (especially UV) or eventually time, it decomposes and one of the results is strychnine. This is why bad acid can give you stomach cramps. It's also why smaller doses (e.g. 30mcg) of bad acid can get you more messed up than 100mcg of pure acid. Back in the 1960s typical doses were more like 500mcg. For many years we were spoiled. My first acid was made by Sandoz in Switzerland and came through Stanford University in Palo Alto CA. Then we were getting Owsley acid made by the Grateful Dead's roadie/soundman Bear, also very pure (except for the occasional bit of amphetamine mixed in).

By the end of the 1960s the Pickard/Apperson organization in Berkeley CA was producing the bulk of the world's good clean acid. Any really high quality acid you bought in the 1970s-'90s was probably made by them. Unfortunately Apperson and Pickard were busted in a former missile silo (in Kansas, I believe) just after the turn of the century. Since then pure LSD has been hard to find.

Luckily this hasn't affected me. Alan Watts once said, "after you get the message, hang up the phone". My acid days are behind me. Timothy Leary pointed me toward turning on, tuning in, and dropping out, and acid filled in the details.

Thank you Hoffman, Leary, Bear (and Jerry G), Pickard, Apperson, and all the others for making my life better than most people only dream of.

There's a high level of FUD going around in the crypto media. Especially, FUD about our lil fiend.

Cointelegraph, The Block, U.Today, all talking about 49.5k or similar. Bear market incoming. Many plebs will be shaken. I resent the media.
