Caroline Ellison of FTX fame has been sentenced to two years in prison and ordered to forfeit $11,000,000,000. I didn’t think she had that kind of dough… I’m guessing we’ll be seeing some Solana sales, or was this the judgement for the funds that will be distributed this quarter? Seems late if it is. 2 years isn’t enough for what she did.

The whole thing collapsed because they didn't have the customer funds... how in god's name does she still control $11billion?  The FTX thing was settled very quickly with creditors owed less than 50k being paid ~120% of their holdings but that was supposedly due to the increase in bitcoin value and somehow that doesn't even take into account another $11billion of stolen customer funds that was fraudulently lent to Alameda?  Who gets this "money" she allegedly has to forfeit?

edit: why do corporate thieves always seem to get off so lightly?

because most people think Trump vs Harris means something. (right vs left) ( conservative vs liberal)

Instead of realizing they are the smoke screen that allows corporate thieves to get off easy.

Arrie's last post was 11 months ago. He seems to be reading, or at least logging in, at bitcointalk every now and then.
I'm curious who of the veterans will show up again here in the upcoming FOMO bullrun, next year.

I like it

But after meeting some I would change a few … but still a lot of them very on point

For myself I think the wall observer who met me… they would put me first in a CrossFit gym and second chilling on holiday, though I like my avatar a lot…. And yes I’m a Hawaï shirt Guy as in the pic.

Ariemoller and Wilhelm and Toxic been a while I think and a few not regular WO’s

Hard to take, but heads-up pre-flop all-in is just going into an area of probabilities.
Betting 41BB on the Dealer pos. with 46o is just crazy, hoping for SB and BB to fold.
KK is a critical hand to fold in this situation an it has about 80% winning probabilities, too.
But lucky fucker on the Dealer hit the straight with non connecting low cards, honestly he could have hit a full house as well, giving the KK guy a better full with the King on the flop. He was also the biggest stack, so playing his advantages only, not so much the hand value.
How do they say? "That's Poker!"  Grin

EDIT: I always liked KK for going all-in pre flop (in the right situation), not so much for calling an all-in with them. AFAIR i lost too often with pocket kings when calling a pre flop all-in...
