I think the below X post by PlanB from September could end up being pretty accurate. His highs are a bit optimistic, but even if his prices are high, his timing on the movements sounds accurate to me.

- Oct: classic pump month. BTC 70k
- Nov: Trump wins election, ends democrats Biden/Harris/Warren/Gensler war on crypto. BTC 100k
- Dec: massive ETF inflow. BTC 150k
- Jan: crypto people/companies return to US. BTC 200k
- Feb: Power Law crew sells. BTC 150k
- Mar: bitcoin legal tender in Bhutan, Argentina and Dubai. BTC 300k
- Apr: Trump/US start building strategic BTC reserve. BTC 400k
- May: Other countries (except EU) join rat race. BTC 500k
- Jun: several AI start using bitcoin to autonomously arb tradfi. BTC 600k
- Jul/Dec: face melting FOMO. BTC ATH 1M
- 2026: distribution phase. BTC back to 0.5M
- 2027: bear market. BTC bottom 0.2M

This looks too good to be true. The US elections is at the core of this analysis, so what will happen when the elections did not go as predicted by PlanB? We have to examine both scenarios.

Next year is the “every 4 years” Christmas. This year’s Christmas is the shake out those who are only here for money before the major rally Christmas. I’d hold off on the expensive gifts for now. Sure, $80K is a great price for Bitcoin now, but I think a year from now people could be kicking themselves for not holding until $200K+.

Oh no!  

Well, after $1 mil in 2025, 200K in 2027 would feel very gloomy, indeed  

Realistically, color me skeptical, but, heck, if 2024-2025 is like 2016-2017, it could happen.
Once major institutional FOMO starts, it could keep going, especially if the rest of the market is somewhat flattish (with no NVDA-like pops).
EDIT: if MSTR would be able to raise that much money on good terms, it would certainly be a signal of sorts.
