Well everything is looking great, Donald Pump is having a positive effect. However, I remember last time, Trump was winning in WI, Mi, and PA (I think) then overnight that just vanished within the space of about 30 minutes. The same can happen again.

BTW apparently Trump in a speech today praised the French system for elections, where we all have a voting card, show ID, and the result is known at 8PM.

He's not wrong, and in a country where you need an ID for a lot of things and get it for free, and get the voting card in the mail, it's not a big hassle put on people.

With that said he would never have won an election with our system, since we directly vote for the president, not indirectly, so you need the "popular vote" as there is nothing else.

 I just realized that until this weekend, every-single-time I've come to the US since my youngest was born, I've been asked for ID to check into a hotel, even though I book well in advance and pay up front with my credit card.  I used to argue because the credit card companies forbade asking for ID in order to use the card but eventually I gave up.  This week, I've checked into 3 different hotels with three different parent companies and not one of them asked to see my ID!   I can hardly wait until I travel here next time to see if this is a new trend or some sort of election-time anomaly.  Maybe they'll stop asking me for ID to purchase alcohol too... strange.

I don't doubt you phil, but I was stunned last time when that jump happened, Trump had a lead then too. He was a shoe in then all of a sudden hundreds of thousands of votes came in for Biden. It was crazy, but it happened. Not saying it will happen this time, but I expect that when he is 100% confirmed as the winner will see another jump in price because it will eliminate that possibility of what happened in 2020.

...well, they did not count 57% of Cali yet...so maybe less of a "real" lead in popular, but it seems that he is getting more votes than in 2020, for sure.
There is a chance of all three branches going to one party, it seems, even narrowly (for Senate and House), though.

$75K is crazy and we haven’t even gotten the official word that Donald Trump will be the next President of the United States of America yet. I’ll admit that this race was closer than I expected, but barring any surprises in Georgia or Pennsylvania I think we might be able to breathe a sigh of relief. $85K by year end suddenly seems low.
