stolen from twitter, not crediting nobody
The picture is talking a lot, anyone knows? Yep, as psychodad said not so many hours ago, Just a quick heads-up: Mempool is literally emtpy, a good time to consolidate inputs or fund lightning channels.
...and it literally was empty. edit: omg! It still is. If I didn't have so much to do today, I'd do a reorganization of some sats. Why this happened: - 3 blocks were mined in the span of 3 minutes - blocks are being mined at closer to 9 minutes than 10 recently - hardly any inscription activity The mining question is the diff hashrate dropped 3% last jump. The mining hashrate went up bigly this month. So it is likely that a ton of s21 miners were pulled and replaced with s21 xp miners. Ie pull a 200th unit replace with a 270th unit. If we continue at the high rate of mining the 3.5% drop last jump should be a 5-6% jump this month Newhedge
Latest Block: 895387 (17 minutes ago) Current Pace: 108.4952% (284 / 261.76 expected, 22.24 ahead) Previous Difficulty: 123234387977050.9 Current Difficulty: 119116256505723.5 Next Difficulty: between 121719532152483 and 129708592841880 Next Difficulty Change: between +2.1855% and +8.8924% Previous Retarget: last Saturday at 4:50 PM (-3.3417%) Next Retarget (earliest): May 16, 2025 at 2:32 PM (in 11d 2h 3m 50s) Next Retarget (latest): May 17, 2025 at 9:57 AM (in 11d 21h 28m 57s) Projected Epoch Length: between 12d 21h 41m 28s and 13d 17h 6m 34s
The numbers are acting like 100,000 s21s went off line last jump and 100,000 s21xps com one this jump The good thing is if that 5% continues like it is fees will be low for 10 days and big mining is very bullish as 100,000 s21 xps = 100,000x5,000=500,000,000 A 500 million upgrade As you see it is acting as if that is what happened

Today's kids and parents are lucky they have aid of YouTube, where they can easily learn and refresh the concepts. When I was student in 90s, I have to rely solely on what teacher tell in class. With ChatGPT, now it's more easy to find answers to your queries but it's negative aspect is that students are not doing research and trying to figure out the answer themselves. We didn't even have computers when I was in high school let alone internet. My parents second-mortgaged the house to get us a set of Funk & Wagnall's encyclopedias and if I couldn't find he information in there, I would head to the library. For the most part, we were taught right from a text book so it was pretty easy to learn/study the material. Nowadays there are no textbooks and while I might know how to solve the problems and get the correct answer, I don't know how to show the methodology the teacher wants to see ie draw a proper free-body diagram to solve a physics problem and this is where YouTube comes in very handy. They said textbooks were too expensive but now every kid gets a laptop and the school pays for software and it's not cheap. When I was i school, they loaned you the textbooks and if you lost it, you bought it. Anyway... the good old days aren't likely coming back. Despite all that, we studied and learned things. We are also capable enough to learn new technologies that are emerging with time. This clearly is an indication that our era education system is as good as today's education system is. Yes, the good old days aren't coming back when apple and black berry was just a fruit.

We’ve entered the FINAL PHASE of BITCOIN GAME THEORY.
And if you’re not paying attention, you’re already on the menu.
Behind closed doors in Davos, DC, Riyadh, and Shenzhen, the Strategic Bitcoin Accumulation Protocols (SBAPs) have quietly gone live.
We’re not in the retail era anymore.
We’re in the age of sovereign-grade capital war games, where every institution is scrambling to front-run their own extinction.
BlackRock isn’t “offering access to BTC.”
They’re executing a containment breach.
Fidelity isn’t “adding exposure.” They’re deploying capital like it’s a wartime bunker allocation.
You think this is just ETF hype? This is monetary espionage with a time-locked payload.
Let me spell it out:
If you are not buying Bitcoin, you are the exit liquidity.
Why?
Because every single large player is trapped in the same Nash equilibrium prison - once one starts accumulating, the others either follow… or watch their reserves go to zero in real terms.
That’s game theory. Not a meme. A DEATH SPIRAL for fiat.
You don’t need mass adoption. You need key players to blink.
And guess what?
They already have.
MicroStrategy broke the dam in 2020.
BlackRock normalized it in 2024.
The rest are now sprinting toward a 21M coin finish line that’s already 93% over.
Every sovereign wealth fund, mega-bank, pension allocator, and nation-state CFO is now asking the same question:
“How much Bitcoin do we need to not die?”
And the answer is chilling:
“Probably more than exists.”
Because here’s the catch:
Once the top 1,000 institutions own enough BTC to secure themselves, they won’t ever sell.
Not in a decade.
Not in a century.
Not even in a liquidity crisis.
They will remove Bitcoin from the float.
They will custody it in vaults.
They will collateralize the future with it.
And you?
You’ll be stuck holding melting fiat and a LinkedIn resume with 14 pronouns and no purchasing power.
This isn’t a bull market. It’s a hostile takeover.
Every block is now a battlefield.
Every coin is a geopolitical chess piece.
And every 10 minutes, you are either front-running the front-runners… or getting front-ran by it.
The clown era is over.
The musical chairs are gone.
Now it’s just you, your cold storage wallet, and the fastest capital consolidation in human history.
Bitcoin isn’t a bet. It’s your last chance.
The banks won’t save you.
Your government won’t save you.
Your diversified portfolio of ESG-approved soy index funds won’t save you.
This is ASYMMETRIC WARFARE.
This is CAPITAL INSURGENCY.
This is the FINAL MONETARY PROTOCOL.
If you understand that, buy Bitcoin.
If you don’t, pray you never meet someone who does. X.
Quoting despite the length because it is such a powerful idea, but it's a little worrisome too, isn't it? Because this is where the idea of paper Bitcoin comes in full play.

Boring weekend of price action. Hopefully it’s the calm before the storm. Maybe we have one little dip to successfully retest $90,000 but I really hope and actually expect to see upwards price trajectory soon.
This is not a joke any more, sub $100,000 Bitcoin is stupidly cheap. We are entering May now, I want to see a significant move soon.
Let's see Bitcoin price on the current day bar chart that gives us very good overview and also comparison of Bitcoin prices on a same day over different years. It is damn helpful for us to see Bitcoin solid parabolic growth with years. https://charts.bitbo.io/price-current-date/ Interesting, the price was low in 2023. I don't remember what happened inthis year which made the price reach this low number but now since we are not going to see any bad dayslike this due or covid or any other bad news I think the next year in 2026 we can expextto see much higher prices like 200 or 250K however if you ask me I like to see the price goes lower than this because I couldn't enough bitcoins so far and currently looking for a chance to buy dip. In another theory, we also have bitcoin halving in the next three years, which can definitely affect the price of bitcoin in 2026.

…. Reads like a decent rhyme to me. Trying to dip your toe into Rap? … Lol. That was totally not on purpose. Nice catch, albeit the “what an asshole” bit might need tweaking.

Yeah, i also assumed it was a happy accident. For the "what as asshole": Totally legit, for example when leading into a bridge or chorus. Maybe also as a sample. Since the number of lines is odd, the last line doesn't necessarily has to rhyme. (Edited spelling)

We seem to be drifting down. What's up with that? Is the market drunk for Cinco de Mayo? While I'll admit I don't like the uncertainty that seems to be hovering over the market right now, there is so much bullish activity going on behind the scenes it is hard to not keep the faith. I just hope the government actually does buy BTC and we aren't all being gaslit for exit liquidity right now. Eric Trump going hard into Ethereum right before it cratered wasn't the most inspiring event. Hopefully we don't see something similar with his father and Bitcoin. Still, I think we see $170K this year and that is being conservative from how I feel.

I would love to see that. 170k. I would be fine with even 120K being the top for 2025. Never can tell, another Halving might come with just another surprise.
What do you mean? What surprise? I don’t know… maybe just another thing that will clog the network That would indeed suck.
