buddy butts in on convo.

why are usdt or usdc cutouts of goldman ball sacks

asking for a friend

USDC is Circle, it is a cutout of G.Ballsacks.

I don't understand anyone that uses tokens from sources they haven't vetted.

*not to mention on exchanges they don't vet.

that is why i do not hold usdc or usdt

Circle being a public company and raising funds at a valuation several times their holdings makes it fairly safe in my opinion. Not to mention I like playing around in DeFi and I also like supporting all the Bitcoin things. I own some FBTC, MSTR, and even BLK to go along with wrapped Bitcoin. DeFi is pretty cool and there are cool ways to use Bitcoin with it.

Apparently you don't know about them ripping off poleniex users, they are corporate raiders.

I have seen many complaints about Poloniex delisting some shitcoins without giving users enough time to react. And once the shitcoin is delisted, no withdrawals or refunds are given.

I'm not going to go into too much detail but they did a 33% socialized ripoff and then sold my coins at the lowest rate retroactively from the past year and sent the funds to my attorney general that were left over. All this while my funds were locked for a year while I fought them on KYC. It was not shitcoins as I haven't mined and sold them since at least 2015. I'd get a lawyer but it would cost me more than the few thousands they stole. They also stole 100k Monero from Risto which I'm sure had nothing to do with his death.

Wow. I once was hired by someone like that. Underpayed me 2K because he knew I was not going to hire a lawyer for such a small amount. Who even owns Poloniex now? Is it still Circle?

I really have no clue, I haven't used an exchange in years.

Self-Custody is a right. Say no to "non-custodial"

Sunday morning news.
Go west, life is peaceful there.
This was my first thought.

How far west in order to reach the peace?

If we keep going west, don't we end up east at some point?  Unless the world might be flat.

What a week that was!
Hopium in our bloodstream.
No ATH though.

Will it come in June?
There's still half a month to go.
Chopper be vroomin'!

Maybe the odds for an ATH would not be much different from last week, and sure based on some seeming temporary loss of UPpithy momentum, such odds could be slightly worse than last week..   I don't know... not that any of us can really determine when momentum might decide to either reverse or just go into a wee bit of a pausening.  Might the whole matter be wrapped up in noise?  Not that historically too many of of the WO regulars have gotten distracted by noisenings.

For what it is worth.. the BTC price does seem to be holding its own pretty well, and what else is new, for those of us who look at the space, there is like an ongoing phenomena in which dee cornz are constantly and ongoingly holding its own pretty well, and that is part of the reason that we are in the supra $100k price range rather than the sub $1k prices that so many no coiners, bitcoin naysayers and the ones who are ignorant of bitcoin (which is an overwhelming super majority of the world's population - which gives plenty of asymmetric information advantages to any of us who seem to have half a clue or more about bitcoin).

Oh and, I may well be speaking the obvious, that under current chopperening parameters, the chopper needs more than a mere ATH to fly - even though sure it is possible that warming up the various parts could be part of its checklist.

Girlfriend vs. wife?
With Bitcoin you can have both.
I would stay single!

Why not both does seem to apply in quite a few life situations.

Sell enough on pumps,
To last through the bear season.
You can buy back too!

I hate to quibble (even though I don't, really.. I am just saying that in order to fit in a wee bit MOAR better).. but there seem to be a few of us who recognize that selling dee cornz on pumps can be good once some semblance of overaccumulation status has been achieved, while not selling so much cornz that you regret, while at the same time selling without an expectation of buying back cheaper, even though surely buying back cheaper does frequently tend to end up happening, even though many guys who sell sparingly are not really better off from the dumps or the buying back on the dumps (just mostly feel better), and your bitcoin quantity might have ONLY increased by a minor and almost immeasurable amounts by such buying on the way down, and surely your bitcoin quantity might ultimately end up somewhat flat from the whole up and down somewhat maintenance process, which should hardly seem a problem once guys consider themselves and/or their BTC portfolio to be in a kind of maintenance stage (rather than an accumulation stage), they are likely at a higher level of being (perhaps on a Maslow hierarchy kind of a scale) as compared with when they were in accumulation status.

The Wall Observer.
You don't need to bend the rules,
When there are no rules!

I would suggest, relatively speaking.

A sad week for all.
War erupted, a plane crashed.
Health, keys, sanity!

I had to look up the plane crash part, and yeah 1 survivor who actually walked away, so arguably not sad for that there bloke... Surely something of notable luck for a particular guy, and even no parts severed, either.

I wonder who's the winner in their smoking contest.
still working on it
ok
i think i neeed toi stop now

thinkk we all won

That is the spirit.   Wink
