on the current chart i wouldn't call it a “double top” until bitcoin goes below $100k, because there is a peak and there is a resistance there. of course it might take a few tries for the price to break through there. if we go below $100k after the top on june 10 then i would say we are in bad shape. movements between 100k-110k are quite normal for now.

even though i don't think so, we shouldn't be surprised if it happens as you say. i am still expecting a ath.

I'm not hating you but fundamentally, not a time to expect 19% drop in price. I guess fundamental is about to overpower technical. War is ravaging and at the verge of escalation, there is so much uncertainties in the world, Bitcoin will definitely be an asset of choice for investors.

If I have a house in any of the countries likely to join the war, this is the time I will sell it and put the money in Bitcoin

You're absolutely right that double top formation is similar to the January 2025 setup, and it’s already showing signs of exhaustion at that key resistance level.

Looking at the weekly chart, BTC clearly rejected the previous ATH zone again, forming a near perfect double top with wicks showing selling pressure.



On the daily TF, the market structure is still technically bullish with that ascending trendline support intact, but any solid break below $100k could trigger a sharper correction possibly down to around $85-73k demand zones I've marked, which is around 20% or more.

Michael Saylor has to be feeling a little bit nervous.  2 weeks away from the quarter being closed and the Bitcoin price is right on the cusp of where it needs to be for MSTR inclusion in the S&P 500.  I'm half expecting him to pull some sort of a rabbit out of a hat.  If there were ever a time for his biggest buy ever, I would think it would be in the next 2 weeks.  Failure to meet requirements for the S&P 500 could send the market into a tailspin as investors lose confidence in an inclusion.  I'm guessing we see some fireworks between now and the end of the month.

As I mentioned on another forum, they’re saying it only applies to “approved” exchanges , so probably just Thai crypto exchanges.

Anyway, capital gains were already tax-free when using foreign crypto exchanges. It’s only if you remit the capital gains to Thailand (and if you’re a tax resident that year) that it could be taxed. As Thailand is a territorial tax country.

 But if they also approve the new tax exemption for remitted income (locally) in year N and N+1, that would solve the issue anyway.
