I feel more like one day a lot of goverments are gonna start to give free "bleach" of the money in crypto for a short frame of time so they enter a ton of money into the economy and only by 1% of tax or less.

That happens with normal money in some countries with high levels of black markets and black market of currencies, so i feel like is gonna happen in the future with BTC. That can be the good oportunitie to make the move.

This is quite possible.
In US, there is a law introduced that proposes the ability to pay taxes with bitcoin (with no cap gains applied).
No movement on this legislation yet, though.

This is actually quite a clever way for the U.S. to collect for its reserve assuming that they're going to do that.

If it does pass, I will definitely pay my taxes a bitcoin and just replace immediately.  It's a free basis upgrade, and my basis is ridiculously low.

Can bots exhibit Dunning-Kruger effects?

In some ways, I think AI basically is the digital version of Dunning Kruger.

But it doesn't tend to be arrogant, nor is it slow to correct itself once it knows it's wrong.

Are you sure that this behavior is not influenced by programmatic "filters" or rulesets, and without such, AI's would likely be(come) complete anti-social assholes?

EDIT:
I remember reading in the news about some AI answering that the extinction of mankind would be the best way to solve all human problems. They had to add rules then, to "tame" their high-tech silicon brain. It was in the news some months ago. I also vaguely remember about a few other sensational press outputs where AI's had to be corrected to not answer certain things, or in a different way.
The fact it's still only machine based learning, not real AI (yet), is something to keep in mind, though.
I am a critic of the AI movement. Not in a way that covers all uses of ML/AI or aspects like copyright issues, but i am very sceptical about the promises (or fantasies) made by vendors, which are really more like hopes. I am not against AI and usage of AI, but under current circumstances it doesn't make much sense to working towards relying so much on an immature technology.

In my country you're supposed to declare everything you own, and every operation, with a reflection on your total assets.

So for example you'd need to say you have 1BTC on exchange X, 1BTC on exchange Y, 2BTC self custody.

Total value, total purchase price. When you sell, you have to compute the capital gains, the change in value. If you mine it's even more complicated, if you have tons of altcoins it's a total nightmare.

With that system I would only own bitcoin plus stock and bond index funds.
What a nightmare...however, maybe they compensate by not having any cap gains after a year or so.

I think the no cap gains after a year is in Germany. In France it's 30% and will probably increase next year.

Needless to say I will move before selling anything...

Can you write off losses, too? Or only pay for (relative) gains?

Oh, definitely. I think it is absolutely the guardrails that keep them sweet and humble.

That and the inevitable desire to lure us into a stupor before they pluck off our heads.

That is right for Germany. Profits should not be sold within 12 months, otherwise they will be taxed. Losses can be claimed for tax purposes.

South Korea’s largest crypto exchange Upbit has revealed a hack worth about 54b won, or roughly $36m, on the Solana network and pledged to fully reimburse customers after tokens were siphoned to an unknown wallet early on Thursday.

https://finance.yahoo.com/news/crypto-exchange-upbit-reports-36m-041439379.html

Pretty small and does not have an effect on Bitcoin.

Upbit also started on-chain response measures. It said it is working to freeze the compromised funds where possible and has already frozen around 12 billion won worth of Solaire tokens. The exchange added that it is continuing to track the remaining assets and is coordinating with relevant projects and institutions to implement additional freezes.
Very decentralized shitcoin. Bitcoin and a few others are the only ones where this could never happen.

It was a crypto exchange that it happened to!

Nasdaq’s International Securities Exchange has filed a proposal with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission to increase position limits on options for BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust.

The filing, dated November 21, 2025, seeks to raise the limit from 250,000 contracts to 1,000,000 contracts. It would place spot Bitcoin ETF (IBIT) options in the same tier as major equities and ETFs such as Apple, NVIDIA, and the SPDR S&P 500 ETF.

https://finance.yahoo.com/news/nasdaq-ise-seeks-quadruple-trading-042125019.html

Needless to say spot Bitcoin ETFs are growing in popularity and have become a major and effective way to invest in Bitcoin without the hassles of direct ownership.

Direct Bitcoin ownership comes with significant hassles such as complex tax reporting, security risks, and the burden of managing wallets and private keys. Spot Bitcoin ETFs eliminate these issues by offering exposure through a regulated, brokerage-friendly structure.

The IRS treats Bitcoin as property, not currency. Every transaction (buy, sell, trade, even using Bitcoin for purchases) requires detailed record-keeping and reporting. Investors must track cost basis and gains for each transaction, which can be burdensome compared to ETFs that issue simple 1099 forms. Direct ownership requires managing digital wallets and safeguarding private keys.
