Price action is looking really good. I just hope we are not here -

If we are in a regular 4 year cycle then the circled above is where we are now. If four year cycles are a thing of the past then we are going to Valhalla. Hopefully for all our sakes, it’s the latter.

Price rebounds nicely. 92k resistance could be taken like it had been easily in April.

If everybody expects the price to go up, a nice sharp downward spiral would be effiscient to wash over leveraged traders so we have to watch that but as long as news are not bad & other risky markets go up and the Fed is dovish, the price should recover to 100K

The line up is rarely going to be straight. .so there will be squigglies and even fake outs along the way back up.. and even imagining that supra $100k might have developed into a Lindy effect point.. still needing to be confirmed.

All fiat currencies collapse, it is just a question of when.
Call me up if that ever happens.
 Roll Eyes
Ring rrrriiing rrrrrriiing.
 "Hello?"
"Hello. This is Voltaire, am I speaking with henry_of_skalitz?"
 "Yes."
"Good then, I would wager you  eighteen turonenses four ducats and nine carlins that this is happening before your eyes and while you sleep.  What sayeth you?"

That is the thingie.. The currency collapse thingie happens to be in the room with us now, whether "we" realize it or not.

Some of us thought that events around March 2020 would have had made apparent the level of desperacy of all currencies based on what lengths the status quo currency controllers would go in order to prop up the existing system with the appearance of value... while at the same time engaging in so many contradictions, such as how the hell can any kind of value exist in the system if production and supply chains are allowed to dry up.

There surely was amazing and outright contradictions that should have had communicated to many folks that something is wrong when money can be manipulated to such levels.. and that is not even going so far in the ways to try to pigeonhole fiat monies into control tools.

as for today’s price who cares wake me up at 80k or 101k

Sounds like a poll question.

And, I think that it is becoming bettable.

Which side are you on, and how are you preparing yourself?

Frequently, we are faced with the same (if not similar?) question in bitcoin - only the range continues to be different - and generally with the passage of time, the range is tending up.  Who would have had thunk?  Is such tendencies going to end?  so answering such questions would help to suggest the answer to the "how are you preparing yourself" question.

I am not sure if the situation with BTC can be generalized in the way this chart does.

I personally give a new ATH within the next 6-12 weeks a 50/50 chance, which of course is totally SOMA.

CME halted trading because of a cooling issue. Something similar could also happen to any custodian, temporary lock out at the very least  Cheesy

https://www.cnbc.com/2025/11/28/cme-halts-fx-commodities-futures-trading-after-data-center-issue.html

Many times the "temporary lockouts" can be very inconvenient for anyone involved in centralized platforms and centralized asset classes.

Recall the "temporary" disabling of the Robinhood sell button during the Gamestop matter

It can be a wonder how such BIG scandals are allowed to exist, and largely the allowance of such high level scamming of the public (retail) tends to relate to authority figures giving a nod that it is "in the best interest of 'the system.'"

6-12 weeks is not even 2025 anymore.    Shocked Shocked Shocked

That would not even be on "our" fictional schedule!!!!!!!

I didn't even realize what I did there, I guess it's 5 weeks max then of course!! My bad, sorry.

Though as Bitcoin and most of us get older (well, some never seem to grow up at all but that's something completely different), an ATH is in many ways like ED:
It can happen anytime, you never know if and when there will be again a huge candle, so to speak.

2018 to 2025 is a very long gap. Does it mean you are a weasel a fraud a merit farming hole?

Maybe maybe not. There are a lot of merit hoes here is hoping that whatever is true about your account is found out.

For me I simply don't know

I don't have time to write on the forum like that because I'm working on my small business.
Recently, I write on the forum whenever I get some free time. I didn't come here with any bad intentions or try to earn any merit.
My account is still the same as it was before.

A few days ago I bought a (DIY 1000 TRX Note).
I don't think about when I came and when I left. I use my account normally whenever I want.
I don't have any scams or posts outside the forum rules and regulations.

But he comes here and talks very badly which is not normal in any way. Those who scam should be told these things and those who don't do it should not be spoken to like that. I think he/she lacks family education.

Anybody is getting anything techie/entertainment for this black fri or this week altogether?
After not having a TV for almost a decade (used streaming on PC or ipad), I've got LG G5...need a TV to watch the World Cup next summer.
A small detail: I entered the drawing for tickets...so far none-not even a pip squeak from FIFA.

You could  get a "hospitality ticket" quite easily, but they are starting at $1250/ticket for the group stage around here and then move to $1900 for 1/16 and $2500 for 1/8 of the final...so from $2.5K to $5K for two people. Crazy!

Let me know, guys, if tickets have better availability in EU or anywhere else.

Who is next to bite the dust?

Tether has officially confirmed it is shutting down its Bitcoin mining operations in Uruguay due to unsustainable energy costs. The company notified Uruguay’s Ministry of Labor and laid off most of its local workforce. Tether cited rising electricity prices as the main driver behind its decision. Out of 38 employees in Uruguay, 30 were dismissed, with only a small team retained to manage the shutdown. Tether had a $4.8 million dispute with Uruguay’s state-owned utility UTE, which added pressure to the decision.

Tether had initially projected $500 million in investments, including three data centers in Florida and Tacuarembó provinces. Tether launched its “sustainable Bitcoin mining operations” in Uruguay in May 2023, but by late 2025, the project was deemed financially unviable.

As mining operations close down, how will it affect the price of Bitcoin?

If you stop thinking in fiat terms your life would be so much easier.

Figure out what you need to live for fiat and put the rest in and then you will never have to worry about market shifts.

Keep all your savings in and you can never miss the spike and the inevitable new floor.

I've got a friend that lives in Lakewood just north of the lake in Ocean County.

Let me know, guys, if tickets have better availability in EU or anywhere else.

I actually have an old friend who is "working" for the FIFA, i have worked with his bestie 15 years ago, i think they might still be in touch.
That's the good news. The bad news is that i have to overcome the huge shame and guilt i feel, because i haven't contacted my ex-coworker since back then, although we were close friends, for many years before, when we were also hacking in a well known defacement-group together. Then there was this woman. She was showing strong narcissistic behavior in her preceding relationship, left her ex in a mentally bad condition. My friend was dating her and then they were living together. I didn't know how to (re)act and tell him about my twisted feelings, and that inner conflict straight out overwhelmed me.
It's an ASD/ADHD thing, but i didn't know anything about it at that time of my life. Sometimes we just vanish from relationships, for reasons we don't even fully understand ourselves. I thought i was a normal computer/tech geek back then. Well, i was right with the geek, at least.

I can't promise you anything, but i will make a try to contact him on behalf of knowing about the ways and chances to get tickets. Also because of my own curiosity about FIFA internals. FIFA is quite big, but i know that one guy can visit any FIFA game on the planet, whenever he wants to. I remember him saying the constant travelling was pissing him off a bit, so maybe he even doesn't work for them anymore.
Realistically, maybe give it a 10% chance that i will be able to get to useful results.

EDIT: Yes, and it's also time to look how things went, regarding the woman. It's also a chance to explain to him why i didn't show up in 15 years.

EDIT2:  Roll Eyes i originally wanted to reply to the black friday techie question, but the FIFA topic hit a nerve and distracted me, so...

I bought a coffee-maker (40% off), a pci-e card, a 10 gbps USB cable, a new audio interface with 3rd party monitor correction integration (Universal Audio Apollo Twin X with Sonicworks SoundID Integration, a few more UAD plugins, a new digital microscale and a power distribution hub for my astronomy rig(s).
By they way: Yesterday i wanted to put out a scope again, finally, and capture a tack sharp image of the Pleiades formation, but the mount got the protection cover blown off  by a recent storm, water (from snow and ice) entered some gaps and one axis was stuck/frozen. I have to take care of that with a hair dryer first, and i hope i won't have to clean and grease the two fat bearings. I would have to take half of the thing apart.

I'm off Muscimol for today and it starts to suck to concentrate on anything.
