After not having a TV for almost a decade (used streaming on PC or ipad), I've got LG G5...need a TV to watch the World Cup next summer.
A small detail: I entered the drawing for tickets...so far none-not even a pip squeak from FIFA.

You could  get a "hospitality ticket" quite easily, but they are starting at $1250/ticket for the group stage around here and then move to $1900 for 1/16 and $2500 for 1/8 of the final...so from $2.5K to $5K for two people. Crazy!

Let me know, guys, if tickets have better availability in EU or anywhere else.

I actually have an old friend who is "working" for the FIFA, i have worked with his bestie 15 years ago, i think they might still be in touch.
That's the good news. The bad news is that i have to overcome the huge shame and guilt i feel, because i haven't contacted my ex-coworker since back then, although we were close friends, for many years before, when we were also hacking in a well known defacement-group together. Then there was this woman. She was showing strong narcissistic behavior in her preceding relationship, left her ex in a mentally bad condition. My friend was dating her and then they were living together. I didn't know how to (re)act and tell him about my twisted feelings, and that inner conflict straight out overwhelmed me.
It's an ASD/ADHD thing, but i didn't know anything about it at that time of my life. Sometimes we just vanish from relationships, for reasons we don't even fully understand ourselves. I thought i was a normal computer/tech geek back then. Well, i was right with the geek, at least.

I can't promise you anything, but i will make a try to contact him on behalf of knowing about the ways and chances to get tickets. Also because of my own curiosity about FIFA internals. FIFA is quite big, but i know that one guy can visit any FIFA game on the planet, whenever he wants to. I remember him saying the constant travelling was pissing him off a bit, so maybe he even doesn't work for them anymore.
Realistically, maybe give it a 10% chance that i will be able to get to useful results.

EDIT: Yes, and it's also time to look how things went, regarding the woman. It's also a chance to explain to him why i didn't show up in 15 years.

I decided to rely on caffeine+l-theanine for a few days to check if my body is building tolerance to Muscimol. It seems i just got used to more-problemfree-mode a bit more.
But the kickstarter was that i forgot my dose today morning, so i took that chance.

EDIT: When i wrote the original post, i came off the l-theanine after the usual 8 hours. There is some expected rebound, so it's only a bit worse for 1-2 hours before back to "normal".

EDIT2: And theanine certainly builds slight tolerance over a few months. I didn't take it since the start of Muscimol, and it worked better than before that, today.

yeah looking for 4TB nvmes for the desktop. i want 3 as to get to the nvme drives i need to pull the vid card and motherboard heatsinks/shields. so if im doing all that then im swapping the existing 3 x 2 TBs with 3 x 4 TBs all in one shot.

kinda a pain as 2.5 inch drives were like a 2 minute swap.

Only issue would be if they have some kind of cross-tolerance, which seems a little unlikely anyway - or you wouldn't feel theanine stronger after several days of muscimol in a row.

I don't think that it works like that in any kind of a reliable and rest-assuring kind of a way.

Sure, you can measure various short-term changes in your BTC stash size and its value, yet it seems that guys should be shooting for calculations that are 4-10 years or longer into the future, and so yeah we could go back 4-10 years and also figure out where each of us would have had been at various points along the way in the past to figure out whether (and the extent to which) our involvement in bitcoin has been putting us in a better place for having had been in bitcoin as compared with if we had not been in bitcoin.

Surely, I think that we are in a much more solid place to be measuring the values of our BTC from the 200-WMA (their bottom prices) rather than spot prices, even though surely at any moment if we buy/sell bitcoin we will be transacting at BTC spot prices... . yet we go through periods of accumulating coins and likely quite a bit of time (such as a whole cycle at least) will pass by if we are transitioning from our BTC accumulation phase to our maintenance stage and then later to our liquidation and/or sustainable withdrawal stage.

Instead you want to just trade your coins in some kind of a short-term manner?

Of course, the longer that we are in bitcoin, the more likely that our costs per bitcoin will be quite a bit below the 200-WMA prices, even though the 200-WMA might be able to guide us in or own choices about how we might manage our bitcoin holdings.. to the extent that we might sell some or if we might feel bad selling any in event that the BTC price might be close to the 200-WMA or if it might be far away from the 200-WMA... yet if we have plenty of bitcoin, then we might just figure out some amount that we regularly cash out.. ...

and yeah, there still can be preferences to sell when the BTC price is going up rather than coming down, yet we likely have to try to plan in advance for those kinds of matters, since we can sometimes get stuck in BTC price dipping periods that seem to not want to stop.  I am not proclaiming that we are currently in such a place, even though we can never have a lot of confidence in regards to the potential of our transitioning into such a state of affairs.

Who is next to bite the dust?

Tether has officially confirmed it is shutting down its Bitcoin mining operations in Uruguay due to unsustainable energy costs. The company notified Uruguay’s Ministry of Labor and laid off most of its local workforce. Tether cited rising electricity prices as the main driver behind its decision. Out of 38 employees in Uruguay, 30 were dismissed, with only a small team retained to manage the shutdown. Tether had a $4.8 million dispute with Uruguay’s state-owned utility UTE, which added pressure to the decision.

Tether had initially projected $500 million in investments, including three data centers in Florida and Tacuarembó provinces. Tether launched its “sustainable Bitcoin mining operations” in Uruguay in May 2023, but by late 2025, the project was deemed financially unviable.

As mining operations close down, how will it affect the price of Bitcoin?

No cross tolerance, totally different pathways: Cannabinoid vs. GABA receptor gateway.
Taking them together would also work, but the combination of muscle relaxant and blood pressure lowering effects could become unpleasant, at least when you're low BP type like me. I usually have around 110/65@60 at rest. That's where the caffeine comes into play, it combines nicely with the theanine, provides a significant "zen" effect at higher doses. But the Muscimol doesn't combine well with Caffeine, it triggers some odd (but light) effects like tiredness and muscle soreness, with the intensity relying on the amount of caffeine in the system. Coffee cravings are less than half of what i was used to under muscimol, so the unpleasant effects fade out within 3-4 days. Oh, and i went way more often to the toilet in that time. Muscimol seems to clean out the body, after that it works almost unnoticeable (in microdoses 0.1 to 0.3g) but quite effective.
No side effects reported so far, not even by (self-claimed) long term users.

EDIT: You may notice my writing changes for the better as the theanine rebound is almost over now.

EDIT2: So it's time to debug that bitch Windows 11 (25H2), which resets the whole USB bus when the WDM audio driver is released (stopping playback or closing the media player or DAW). You hear that Event ID 50? I'm coming after you!  

LAST EDIT: Forgot to mention that under Muscimol i really feel the effects of caffeine like a normie. It's way stronger and less calming, up to the point of jittering, which i normally don't experience from coffee, lab-grade caffeine or Guarana root, even in substantial amounts. I can drink two or more Moccas and easily go to sleep an hour later.

 Is that a 55"?  OLED is nice - just get some 2X readers and sit closer to it.  You'll feel like you're part of the action.

If they tend to agree with the OGs almost all the time then they are definitely merit hoes. Those are dishonest people. Disagreements are more common in genuine people as can be seen with the situation with JJG. 

As long as the disagreements are not trolling like a certain Fidelity fan it is ok..

I don't merit people who agree with me based on that alone, and I don't tend to merit accounts that are new to me either for the reasons that you're sort of mentioning. In fact, this is why I haven't merited you at some points where I have found that I agree with what you say.  I'm still trying to figure out who you are.
