_______________________________________________________________________________ _______ Umm, I take it that it's common practice for many here to use mind-altering drugs... Well, of course, don't you? Nope, no way! I know better... I don't want any chance of becoming a helpless loser druggie, stoner, junkie, or addict. Only the black stripes that your doctor prescribes to you. My BMI is roughly 20, my HRV is great, blood pressure excellent, not talking about IQ, financed and built a home, couple kids, a pretty, smart and loving wife, at age more than half a century. Used drugs since age 16, more responsibly since age 20-ish*, some daily for years or even decades, rarely the bad stuff, never the worst stuff, no addictions. I was occasionally forced to quit (holidays, stays at hospitals...), had no problems whatsoever, just had to temporarily give up the usual benefits. Most of the application is medical/therapeutical with occasional recreational adventures in between. I also was a heavy smoker and drinker until 35-ish. I don't miss a thing about it, i never turned back. Lesson learned, and i was quite lucky, mostly health wise, compared to my past companions. It's said that autistic people have considerably less problems with substance addictions than normal people. A close friend suffers severe pain from her period. She's diagnosed ASS + strong ADHD, uses Opioids for five days every month, no problems with addiction. She loves the frenzy, though, mainly because it works against her ADHD symptoms, but she never has a problem quitting the opioid painkillers after her period is over. (I just remembered she said she can't stand the day of sweating much after coming off). EDIT: It's binge-watching night. Have a good time y'all. EDIT2: This was my 4444th posting as OOM here Just noticed after editing O. o. m..... You who are always here at buddy's bar, are respectful people, I would love to talk about water, that they put antifreeze where necessary, that they put sodium orthophosphate, to clean the pipes, daily... And fluoride is not so good for teeth, Fluoride acts as a catalyst along with chlorine, forming stones in the kidneys......until the last century it was poison for crops, against pests........ I would like to talk much more, but no, I apologize for having saturated here these days.... Congratulations on the family, and for at the same time being here commenting for a long time.... ....I was a good reader here on the forum, while I didn't have an account, and one day I decided to open a account ... But before I d read about how miner m CPU,.... ... was the subject that appeared in searches and 'BTT' always appeared...... ...... My sister has a 15-year-old son, he is autistic and has Attention Deficit Disorder,.... I have long preferred the path of medicinal herbs and their cultures, but I remember very well when her son was about two years old,.. and he took the triple vaccine, I realized that his soul was disconnecting from the thread of his spine and his eyes began to have a deep look, when I realized that he would not come back... a process of a few months.... it was really similar to the loss of the soul, I remember the sharp look I had,, and he was happy, nowadays he don't let go the cell phone, and the worst, the mother leaves.... don't even care.... sad world....... ,,,time has passed... after the accident I died but I'm still alive and hit my head hard in a bike tone.... my head didn't get any better,... But, cannabis is expectorant if smoked, and tobacco impregnates the lungs with alkcatrao, like wood varnish... I smoke both, I smoke a lot of tobacco and little marijuana... but I should do the opposite...It would be much better for my health in many ways... Always in moderation, in my case, to sleep and improve attention, it all depends on the previous mental objective. . . . I know a few bad vaccine stories for babies so I have some sympathy for him as autism sucks. But my 75 year old bro-in-law is autistic an was so before vaccines so I am not saying vaccines give autism.

Umm, I take it that it's common practice for many here to use mind-altering drugs... Well, of course, don't you? Nope, no way! I know better... I don't want any chance of becoming a helpless loser druggie, stoner, junkie, or addict. How are you brainwashed in regards to status quo financial systems then? You feel like a winner rather than a loser to be pumping paper bitcoin and not recognizing the value of personally holding it? Maybe you are bothered by ideas of freedom to transact? I know that in the west there are various financial products that rich people can buy, yet there are other parts of the world too.. I suppose your ideal vision of the world would be for normies around the world to lock themselves into various bitcoin financial products, and then you feel like a winner as that angle of number go up pays off for you, until it doesn't.. until you get rug pulled out of your coins, yet you expect a bail out, since you trust the various financialization aspects of bitcoin. Outflows today If we had the link, then we might be able to see the inflow side of the ledger, to the extent that the inflows might be known and/or the extent that the various inflows/outflows are being accurately calculated. [edited out]
And most of those dangerous drugs are miraculous in the right context. I broke 7 bones in 14 places all at once a while back. Super grateful for opioids. Here... in this conversation I think we are rubbing up against the same sort of divide we are seeing closer to the topic. There are those of us who do our own research, think with nuance rather than binaries, trust our own judgement and tend to look on institutions, governments and the status quo with suspicion. We WANT to be responsible for ourselves. And then there are those who want to trust the institutions, (TruST tHE ScIEncE!) the "best practices" of the status quo and would prefer to trust institutions rather than themselves...I think that there is a difference between trusting institutions and trusting science, since we have found out that science can be quite misrepresented in terms of facts presented or even the logic of how the facts supposedly relate to each other or how the conclusion(s) are supported from the facts and logic, since even the description of the facts might make it difficult to know what is being proclaimed and compared. There still can be value in going through the skepticism, yet there are also some folks who lie in some areas but seem to be telling the truth in other areas.. even though their intentions might not even be to empower people but instead to grift of the information to promote themselves and their own agendas. Of course, critical thinking helps even when the answers might be difficult to know and we might be ongoingly left with more questions rather than answers.. , and even very smart folks can end up getting mislead into the acceptance of sources that are lying, but there are ONLY so many hours in the day, and they have to carry on with their regular lives, too. There are some kinds of studies that are difficult to make for real folks .. and sometimes difficulties figuring out which parts of the studies need to be funding, to the extent that bitcoiners might be able to help with some of the funding, yet it might get back to funding people we trust who are on the right side of the fight.. and it can be difficult to learn the tools (such as the using and prompting of AI) since some of the data inputs might be skewing the results without our realizing it. and there might need to be something on the ground that needs to be done to fill in some of the gaps in the knowledge.. even while we might suggest that AI show its sources in order that we might be able to identify such gaps in knowledge that might exist even if we might trust our sources are not lying or not able to lie (or spin).

Damn, you guys have a history I'm thankfully unfamiliar with - having never once even thought about wanting to try any kind of recreational drug. I was too much of a strait-laced academic and definitely career-oriented.
I wouldn't even know where to get it, I didn't hang out with any friends that used drugs - and I certainly didn't want to disappoint my family or ruin my future by having a record for substance abuse or doing something stupid while under the influence. That mindset has served me well and I don't regret it...
Do you ever drink? I'll have a margarita or glass of wine four or five times a year when at a nice restaurant for dinner or attending a celebration. I really don't care for the taste of alcohol... Yeah my wife does not get high. with illegal or legal drugs to each his own. at esg I am sorry about your nephew. Autism sucks. But my bro in law is autistic and was born in 1950. No Florine and not a lot if any vaccines. It has been a shitty life for him since he was ahead of his time. He is now 75 and suffers from dementia and he is also being looked at for kidney cancer. We will find out when and if he will need to do surgery on it. Just think a demented autistic person getting cancer surgery should be fun. BTW he is more like Sheldon from big bang theory ie a more mild case of autism. I wish your nephew good luck. BTW I drink filtered water only. I have the ability to test its purity and it is close to empty water. I can do electrolysis with it. Always a good sign of clean water. I can not do electrolysis from the tap water. Phil - I have several traits which I think are [very] distantly peripheral to ASD, but I also believe these traits are also very common with neuro-typical people. • I prefer routines and predictability • I am prone to have intense interests in specific subjects (e.g. business law, electronics/Ham radio, golf swing biomechanics) • I don't accept (what I believe is unjustified) sarcasm well However, unlike people formally diagnosed with some level of ASD I enjoy social activities, meeting new people, participating/competing in sports events/tournaments and look forward to making public speaking presentations in various venues.

Full disclosure: --snip--
Jimbo, I appreciated your frank testimony. Not a coke guy myself, but I did try it twice when I was around 20 - more than a few days before yesterday. It was a guy in the band, quite a bit older than me. Incidentally, he was the bass player. You really do have to keep an eye on those sneaky motherfuckers... standing over there, looking dispassionate and chill. 😁

As to autism, I am quite familiar with it myself. Well, that's a funny thing to say, actually, because autism is now defined as a spectrum and includes many, many, many different types of human beings. From people with Downs syndrome, all the way to people like "Sheldon", who has been mentioned here. I've never watched that show, but Bazinga and all. My younger child has that kind, the kind they now call "high functioning" rather than Asperger's. Asperger's was a better name for it, in my opinion, despite the fact I believe he may have been a Nazi? Because it actually has no value in the label, "high functioning" is a terrible misnomer for the type of autism that many of these people bear. My child is way up to the right on the smartness bell curve, but has a very difficult time managing the simplest things in life. So by high functioning, I suppose they mean someone that is intelligent, the quick processor. And just imagine being able to consider 200 things that you need to do before you can take a shower or ways that you could do it differently or not in the right place at the right moment. And it ends up yet another day in which you will not be leaving the house... And then suddenly that fast processor is no longer your friend and the label high functioning is more of a disconnected insult. Again, I would say it is a terrible misnomer. After the years of discovery with my child and the lived experience of raising them I have come to realize that it probably runs pretty deeply in my family. And I would dare say that there are those of us here, knowing or not, who may belong to that same camp. I might, but I'm not interested in a diagnosis. I don't know what good it would do me. And I also know that my ability to mask is very very high. So I think I've even fooled myself. But I do know that I am most certainly neurodivergent. I am a complete aphantasic. I think I brought it up here before, so I will not belabor it. I vaguely remember discovering one or two of you others that have it, perhaps, xhomer. So are we done talking about drugs now and we're off to neurodivergence? That's cool. And obviously there's sometimes a connection between these things. But it makes me sad... I was about to post a really good video on that prior subject. More in the realm of pharmaceuticals, I guess, though. Trust the science and all. https://youtu.be/pq-jEHZ-EFc

Today 06/12/2025 marks it one year I joined the forum, A near Novice, Naive and bitcoin retard. One year later I can say that it has been aot of experience and knowledge packed. My understanding of bitcoin has changed positively and I can now give an investment advice to any bitcoin beginner. Many things have changed so far but everything goes on and on. When I try to recount my journey so far I look at bitcoin back when I joined here, when bitcoin was high at $102k, 365 days later bitcoin now sits at $90k. I can see this as a proof that it's better to save your money in bitcoin than fiats and without panic I can say that it will be a wise decision for anyone who cares for the future. To prove this too, I looked back at Michael saylor's holdings one year ago which stood at about 402,000 Bitcoin on the 6th December 2024 and today, 365 days later on the 06/12/2025, the microstrategy now owns about 650,000 bitcoin in their reserves, over 50% percent addition. The future is definitely brighter with bitcoin and that's all that matters.

Real coke is like 30 minutes of basically a glorified caffeine rush.
It's a lot more than that. Cocaine, amphetamine and other strong stimulants are ego boosters. This is why they are dangerously addictive. Psychedelics on the other hand can be ego inhibitors. Decades ago I had a friend who advocated alternating stimulant times with psychedelic times: Keep your ego in check with psychedelics until it becomes too small and the recover it with stimulants. Back and forth. It's far too easy to let one's ego get out of control. Ego feels good. Ego suppression can be uncomfortable. The more concentrated the stimulant the more unwieldy the ego boost can become. Snorting little lines of "real coke" is relatively harmless. Most retail cocaine has been heavily diluted. Start injecting it intravenously or freebasing it (crack) and it's a whole new ball game. _____ I had second thoughts about including cocaine in my original post because there really is no valid "emergency" use for it. I included it simply because it is one of the most evil substances voluntarily consumed by mankind. Likewise with tobacco. As someone else pointed out, most dangerous drugs have a valid use. Short-term opioid use is absolutely required after getting your bones screwed back together. Just don't continue it for more than a day or two. Likewise benzos. They can be sanity savers in a panic attack but can become dependency producing in a very short time. Use drugs judiciously when they are necessary and then once you get the message, hang up the phone. _____ Full disclosure: I started using cocaine in the 1960s when it was rare and exotic. I continued using small amounts during the 1970s to give me a small boost onstage. It seemed to increase my accuracy and the audiences seemed to like it. By the 1980 s I was starting to get less diluted cocaine and succumbed to its allure. Soon I was buying it regularly and before too long I tried injecting it. The first time I tried freebase I realized it was just like injecting it but much more convenient. I fucked up and spent a friend's money in one night. By the end of the 1980s I had tapered off, first by not consuming any until I'd paid for my purchase with sales. Then I realized that was bullshit and I stopped buying it but still accepted feebies. Then I stopped doing it completely for a year until I was handed joint at a Christmas party that had some coke in it. Next thing I knew I was asking for more like some kind of crackhead. That was the last time cocaine entered my body.. Dec 1988. Nice post. I've only tried cannabis (smoked it) with my GF a couple of times (in my 20s, as a student), and also magic mushrooms recently (a couple of years ago), just once, with my nephew (he was the one who suggested it -- bad boy, he's in his 20s). The shroom trip was NICE. I saw vivid, saturated colors, distorted shapes, and talked about things I'd never really expected to talk to my nephew about. Now he knows all my dirty secrets! The shrooms were an ego suppressor, at least that's how it felt. I just didn't care and was totally at ease, honest and uninhibited. Like an open book. Is this a normal reaction? Asking those who have taken / are taking shrooms. It felt good. Not feeling addicted to it, but would like to try a higher dosage (the dosage I tried was pretty low -- we were scared -- 1st time for both of us -- and last, as of now). Cocaine, heroin: never tried, absolutely don't want to, and I don't think I need to.

I know it is completely unrelated to all the drug stuff recently posted, but we grow some basil in our basement and only recently we started to get a problem with weeds: Cannabis Sativa: This plant alone is enough to secure a 15 years imprisonment for you in my country. Hard drugs are addictive and just like every other hard drugs with their various active components, Cannabis Sativa has an active component referred to as Delta-9- Tetrahydrocannabinol that causes addiction and it's consequent side effects. This leaves was to be legalized in many nations but the after effects still didn't allow that. It remains a criminal offence at least for now. There has been proposals to introduce a strain of cannabis that is free of the active component Tetrahydrocannabinol in order to allow it's intake with less additive potentials. Today 06/12/2025 marks it one year I joined the forum, A near Novice, Naive and bitcoin retard. One year later I can say that it has been aot of experience and knowledge packed. I never seen you post here before. Don't make it too obvious bro This shows you definitely don't browse through the thread. Moreover why have you refused to get the points of bitcoin journey in the post order than bitterly commenting thrash. Will you also refer this one line attack as a post? To my own knowledge it's definitely not any quality and has no meaning. Have you not read posts here that capitalise on how long a person has undergone training in this forum (by reading posts) to establish how experienced such person should be (even though it may not be equivalent). Stay off if you have nothing to add. You just made another one line just like all your posts before now.
