It seems BTC-E is keeping up nicely. It's even gaining on Bitstamp.

Maybe because Huboi and OKCoin caught up with Stamp?

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

Stepping stone.True.
Stealing Market Cap which would otherwise be BTC's: Doge+Dark+Nxt+Ltc

Offtopic: if drk is truly anonymous SR2.0 would switch. Good for btc.

Market cap is a lie. Triply so for Bitcoin.

This rally is bullshit. It's only because people can't withdraw fiat from gox.

You sir, are bullshit. Butthurted bullshit if not mistaken.

He might have been having a little fun?

Lol, so much for that joke Sad

I do get the distinct impression from his posts that ChrisML is heavily invested in Bitcoin.  Smiley

I wonder how many of the bears (igorr, matthecat, windy) have bought back in..
they are not bears they are noobs and trolls.you forgot fonzi

lol windjc is not a noob and has more BTC than you, pretty much guarantee it he was shorting 1000BTC +
allright,windjc excluded

If you read my posts you know that I closed my shorts at 445. I went full BTC at 495. I added leverged BTC long at the retracement at 530. I close my long 4 hours later at 568 (hit my target for me). I then added more leveraged BTC at 570.

So, I am not a "bear" today. However, I think it is more possible than not (blasphamy!) that we are still in a bear market intermediate term.

Did you guys notice that over 4000 BTC shorts were added after this last leg up. That is A LOT of BTC bet against the current uptrend.

I wonder where these shorts would squeeze?  I am thinking it would have to be over 620, because they are probably betting on a serious retracement at some point. Can't say its a bad move, but I am long, at least for a little while longer.

Yes but did you see if they were actual sold on market? As I've said a few times all active swaps means is the liquidity is taken. You can take 4000BTC and never sell them. Why you ask? Well particularly with the spike on Bitfinex just people have been speculating that some people are trying to game the loan system by buying all the liquidity under a certain amount to raise the interest rate and then adding their own offers at high interest rate. Wait for that to be taken and then give the BTC back.

I am long too, so I will just ride the coaster, whether it is upward or downward for the time being.  Would love to see us sustain $600 levels, as that represents another psychological resistance level...

Re the Willy report:  Is this the moment in the animated cartoon when the guy is about to realize that he has stepped off the cliff and has been standing on thin air for a while?   Wink

yes but this is Bitcoin, so it might be that the lie bootstrapped us to a higher price. I'm not sure though. I'm also not sure whether the report is factual (I just read it completely and it seemed coherent).

It may have been China, that launched us, Gox was limp at the time. I'm waiting for a Bitcoin founder to announce he's going to dump. Otherwise getting ready to be amazed again.

I've read about the Willie account at least a couple months ago on Reddit with the suspicious trading activity and potentially inflated prices.

Seems like old news taken from various sources, although well pieced together with pictures and charts.

With it being old news, market has already priced it in.

Yes, that is why, and non-paypal methods are expensive with high fees, or too slow (few days).
