Lol. I see. But I fail to understand how do panic sellers panic every time. Isn't there a point when you understand you don't have to?

It's part of the exponential growth thing. There's always newbs.

Not sure if newbs have so much ammo, probably combination with bots and stops.

With this dump it is looking more and more like it did right before the massive run-up in November.

I guess this is a good sign then?  Wink

How exactly is this dump looking similar to pre-November run up?

there was massive bear traps on the way, i know, i fell in every single one.

Sorry to break it to you, but one of these is not alike.

This formation never occurred in April or November. I really doubt this rally will reach new highs.

My personal opinion: Its done.

oh its going up pretty fast for a while yet
Any level of doubt I had at all in Bitcoin was completely demolished in my final economics mba class of the semester.  Subject was macroeconomics, Dr. Funk asks us "what is money?"  Then followed that question up with, " I'm going to use Bitcoin as an example alot tonight, believe it or not in the next 50 years it or something like it will replace the current system you use."  He didn't let me talk the whole class, lol I was just dieing to say stuff and blurted a couple things out anyway!  The student group I'm forming has a 25 year veteran of the Federal Reserve Bank of St Louis as our advisor.  Arkansas is going to be on the map soon in bitcoin yall. I've been out of the loop for a little bit.  What caused the sudden $200+ rise over the past couple of weeks?

My personal opinion: this is just a pre-rally. It will be followed by a period of stagnation and the real rally to ATH will come

Look at the 1-day RSI chart. The pattern is repeating. If that's true, we should keep raising to 700-ish, stabilize at 600-ish for a month, and the real bubble begins at July.

everybody goes history does not repeat blah blah blah

But i agree this biatch certainly is doing a very good impression of the same thing ...

Maybe we should say humans repeating their same mistakes or humans not changing their behaviour in the context of (GREED/FEAR)

Further zooming out you will see this pattern has happened 3 times in a row

please go panic dump on virtex?

I noticed that the 160 coin askwall is back on Virtex after being absent since Sunday when it appeared during the flash crash, as if to discourage a recovery, only to be moved up when the price started to rise, and removed when it was clear the flash crash was over and long before it was bought into.

160 coins may not seem like much compared to the international exchanges but it represents  an average day's volume on little Virtex.

Currently it's trading at $681, approximately what it was at this morning,

Yawn.

Sure enough, after Virtex rebounded up past 690, the 160 coin ask got moved from 697 up to 704.

Pretty obvious.

Also pretty entertaining.  Smiley

It costs less to trade on cavirtex now.
As in, when you buy bitcoins with canada bux, they take less as a service charge.
And now adamstgbit is thanking ChrisML for bringing it to our attention. Smiley
