My explanation for the mini-rally of the last few weeks is that some Chinese traders got insider info of some impending positive development X, and all the other traders simply went along with them, without understanding why.  Now some of those traders may have got tired of waiting for X, or began to doubt the rumors, or got scared by that Caixin article.

So, what will happen next depends on whether X will actually happen, and whether it is indeed a positive thing.

The OTC market must be dried up for now. They are driving the price down a bit to get more sales. The Rule of Thirds was broken so we go to 600 for awhile. When China wakes up, they will pull it back to 4000.

I agree. We just went 445 to 685 in a short time. I think a retrace back to 580-600 (most likely 600) is necessary. This just normal market action and no cause for panic at all.



The DPR, Gox and Silkroad coins all moving in the last day could change this though.

Well some people here were saying that we wouldn't move up with all these longs attached. That some whale would probably try to squeeze out all the longs by dumping, and buy the cheap coins that would be squeezed. Well it hasn't worked so far, so will the whale keep dumping or give up?

Personally I don't think this is what's going on here.

I have a hunch that someone is in the process of buying the seized coins that are on the move and they are trying to keep the price down on exchanges since they will be buying off market at some price percentage of market value. This person may have only had an account at bitstamp, or maybe bitstamp is the price they are going to use. The people who do arbitrage have done their part to make money on this gap. If this person was dumping for other reasons, say to cause panic or to cash out, they would have done it on multiple exchanges to save a shit ton of money.

Its either that or a bear trap lol.
But who knows? Now, we just wait and see!

If price resist @600 then it will be good for bitcoin price, but if drop down below 560 then there will be big risk of around 500 usd.
