Whether the 51% attack is a real threat or not makes no difference. Perception is all that matters, and that is affecting the price right now. The perception of bitcoin in the media has improved dramatically, but this could set off another round of FUD articles.

Clever arguments to the contrary won't matter. Finding a solution to this perceived threat will. It can also show how the greater bitcoin community can fix its own issues, which any long term investor would find compelling.

Whenever there's FUD spreading, it's a great time to buy. Trust me.

I sent the "Bitcoin-Risk-Management-Study-Spring" to all big newspapers in Europe and North/South America. They should be aware of the real dangers of Bitcoin and be able to report to their readers about it, so that they don´t have to write any fictional FUD during the next crash.

I smell the panic all over thread in the last days... a good indicator that we can be closer to the rally that people thinks.

Strong buy zone.

This has been said quite often in the last 4-5 months.

Nobody sold part of his btc stash rebought @ sub 400$?
Buy and Hold is ok, but why don't you take profits on the way to a new ath?

BTC is a bumpy road, there was allways a chance to buy back (with a decent profit.
Selling now is not a good advice, but why didn't you sell above 650$?

Dump walls on Finex and BTC-E are up, new lows for June incoming soonish.

Edit: BTC-e decided to market sell before it´s too late. Wise decision!

Dont pay attention to this guy. He reg. shorts btc and has been perma bearish since he joined (he must be pro fiat) with rose colored glasses on Smiley

He seems to have a doge coin stash so I consider this weasel insignificant but fun nonetheless. Anything from this guy should be quoted as the local idiot.

If you sold between Jan and October 2013 you didn't get a chance to buy back cheaper, it is just an example

Wrong. There were plenty of opportunities to buy back MUCH cheaper. You probably didn't look closely at the charts.

I did, unfortunately sold in the second week after ATH, but then rebought at:

Had an order for 340, but since we didn't quite hit that on BTC-e, you've got the 400 orders. Have been holding since.

The Silkroad coins are killing us. They'll be sold for much cheaper than intended.
