$9 more and the real excitement begins.  It will be tough on BFX: 900 coins between 535 and 540.  From 560 up, it is cruise control.

Believe it or not, people are still opening up shorts.

I am sure enough people believe this is all a big bull trap.. reversals are usually painful

remember the dead cat bounce from $480 - $520 - crash to $445 at 3 days ago?

Self-Custody is a right. Say no to"Non-custodial"

30% Cryptos (BTC/LTC/UNO/PPC) + a few other shit ones like doge & rzr

30% Phys (Gold)

30% Cash (15%GBP & 15%Another)

10% secret sauce Wink

At least it adds up to 100%, now,   Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy and NO problem with various secret sauces...  Wink

I have posted on various financial diversification matters as it relates to bitcoin, and  sometimes the distribution of your various quasi-liquid assets will depend upon how long you have been into investing in crypto, and whether you have experienced 1 or more exponential growths in price (in other parlance, "price bubbles"). Since you registered your account here in early 2013, I would surmise that potentially you have experienced at least two BTC price bubbles.

If you have various highly volatile asset classes in various portions of your total quasi-liquid investment portfolio, then YEP>>> you gotta reassess from time to time such distribution to ensure that your distribution remains comfortable to your financial needs and abilities, risk aversions and future expectations (hopefully somewhat realistic)...    Cool

What if that was the rally?

Um, I think I want my money back.

"What if"?     likely scenario.. that we are going to have several rallies in the coming weeks.. and there has been some pick up in volume in the last two weeks... NOT a lot, but some and possibly even sufficient quantities to get this "bad boy" going into a more active mode.

No, we don't remember, could you remind us, for some reason we've missed all your posts, threads and duplicate accounts.

when it goes down, roses and butterflies are everywhere, 2 d moon, 2 d grave and all around, so... here we go again, China is concerned blah, blah

I also noticed the usual "Bitcoin's final crash" "The end of Bitcoin?" and similar articles all over the place.
The usual old fart economists on their crappy blogs with their told you so's.

How many times are these idiots gonna do the same thing? After every crash they pop up with the same shit. Then we go up again and you won't hear them anymore untill the next crash.

They're not anything different than the trolls here it just occured to me. Funny.

I don't care about direction where we are going, I'm more concerned with the behavior on this board. Two years ago we were more mature, with more serious analysis and polite conversation, no matter where we are heading. Lately, everyone feels free to insult everyone, we need to calm down and develop some respect for each other, it would be much better for us and bitcoin. Just imagine how new members of this forum react when they visit this forum for the first time... They feel like they are visiting zoo and see bunch of monkeys, throwing insults, "moons" and "looses" all around and creating so much mess, after that they just adopt this model of behavior. I can't blame moderators because no one can moderate this, problem is just too big for anyone to moderate.

Seriously, the board wasn't any better than 2 years back except that some smart, very smart people stayed and continue to tickle our brains while we move further in this new and fascinating concept of decentralized 24/7 worldwide payment networks. It genuinely feels like living the dot.com bubble again (the technical aspects, not the boom in stocks), but this time active and at the forefront.

To turn it around: the board has never been better.

Registration with post requirements in the newbie area used to help vs all those troll accounts. But bitcointalk brought this mess on itself...
