Slightly off-topic I know but 3.5K coins to break 380 on Stamp; I imagine these asks will get pulled in a few hours and we retest 400 in the next day.

We could break down too. Any order can be pulled at any moment

Absolutely, but historically a break down on this low volume would occur on a weekend...entering into the week, it's more likely to either consolidate or move up.

This really shows that 10k pages was just a bubble. Looks like this thread is dead. Now it's all just dead cat bouncing from here.

I guess it was a coordinated effort to make sure we remembered the event where we hit 10 K pages
A lot of people like to play jokes lol...

That said its kind of quiet on the bitcoin front auction bidding closes next week for SR
So in my opinion the price won't move much until then or perhaps Friday (Bitcoin black friday) Has not had its tangible effect measured much yet.

yeah, well you never know, bitcoin has a tendency of breaking expectations, although the SR auction is a good opportunity to suppress the price.

this thread should be renamed...  Cry

Thread Observer - Tracking and discussion of the Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion

Has a snappy ring to it?

Thread Observer - Tracking OF discussion of the Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion

more like this

Surely we are tracking and discussing?

Thread Observer - Tracking and discussion OF the Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion

but I like the formatting reference to JuanJayGee Wink

but it seem that we tracking the discussion itself than the price movement

The inevitable dead-fall of metaphysics. Once you fall into this pit there is no way neither out nor further away. You can't stop being a meta and you have nothing more to be meta about. The floor falls out before you understand it's structure and how it held you up all this time. It stops doing it's thing which it always did on it's own without understanding itself or being understandable by others.

Precisely. The WallObserver thread is de-bootstrapping. It has become over-run with paid trolls and subtle FUDsters and gone beyond it's purpose. It is a logical conclusion of a now pointless discussion. The psychological trigger of 10k is a symptom, not the cause.

True enough
Last time the Silk Road auction made the price go up because it was bought in one large block
This time around its a good question

And for me its Bitcoin black friday that will make the price drop as fiat conversions occur or a small dip.
After that it might make a nice recovery.

OP will probably either edit topic title to 20,000 or create a new 10,000 page topic. Grin

We may have broken out of the Rule of Thirds cycle. We're in Superstitious numbers now. The Ruble is 17000. Hopefully we'll stay above 366 USD.

*EDIT*

I'm not sure about the "two-way peg" feature.

As far as I understand it, you peg the value of your side-chain to the value and security of the Blockchain, but once your side chain is established it seems like just another black box where transactions can be opaque.

My feeling is that what it all comes down to, is provable transparency.

Transparency is the killer app.
