Being early September could we have an update or actually a date for your ICO or when you'll be releasing the CHI token on a blockchain (so we can see if we still stand a shot against poloniex to get our CHI back)? Thanks in advance, |

Abstract
Blockchains can be used to build multi-player online games and virtual worlds that require no central server. This concept is pioneered by Huntercoin, but it leads to large growth of the blockchain and heavy resource requirements. In this paper, we present a new protocol inspired by payment channels and sidechains that allows for trustless off-chain interactions of players in private turn-based games. They are usually performed without requiring space in the public blockchain, but if a dispute arises, the public network can be used to resolve the conflict. We also analyze the resulting security guarantees and describe possible extensions to games with shared turns and for near real-time interaction. Our proposed concept can be used to scale Huntercoin to very large or even infinite worlds and to enable almost real-time interactions between players.

I bought a nice pile of HUC for the snapshot way back when (April?)  I kept buying more as the snapshot approached since I just had a very good feeling about the project. And Huntercoin and snailbrain are legend of course. Now that I see what it's becoming, I am even more impressed. 5% of all Chimaera will go to HUC snapshot holders as I recall. Looking forward to the distribution. Very excited for ICO and may buy some more that way as well. |

The guys working on the coin strategy have stated that HUC owners may not get the 3:1 ratio (it could be more or less). Which means the converter on the website will not be accurate. nothing negative - only that the 3:1 ratio or 4.5% (~5%) was based on a Total Cap of 1 Billion CHI (approx 15million HUC in addresses with 1k+ HUCs multiplied by 3 = 45 million, i.e. 4.5% of 1 billion). The CHI Total Supply may end up being less than 1 billion or may end up being more, depending on success of the "Event". In which case the 3:1 ratio will probably not be accurate. You could end up getting 5:1 CHI or 1:1 CHI. Either way, we will make sure the % is as promised so that it is fair. The other alternative was to keep it at 3:1 ratio, but then if the total supply was more than originally envisioned a few months back, HUC owners would receive less % of the total coin supply and i'm sure everyone would not be happy about that I thought I would explain this myself rather than others (so the huc / chi converter on the website may not be accurate - although will still show the addresses which will receive coins) |

Poloniex have stated again, 3 weeks or so ago that they have the data to redeem CHI when released. How are things with the HUC coins that were kept on poloniex during the snapshot? Will we receive our chimaera?

Really? Polo did say that? I'm following them on Twitter and haven't seen a thing but if you have the link it would be brillant. As I invested quite a lot (considering my savings) in HUC at the time it would be a huge relieve for me to know it isn't wasted money after all ;-)
