Taurion: Tech Demo Released & Open Sourced — Test Now

We’ve just released Taurion as a tech demo for you to download and test. You can get it on our Discord channel and get support there too.

Taurion is not yet finished, so this release is a pre-alpha tech demonstration. Elements of the full Taurion game are missing from it, but the elements that are there are more than sufficient to demonstrate the power of the XAYA platform. Just a few of the important elements of Taurion and true blockchain gaming that you’ll see in this tech demo include:

• Complex and fully decentralised MMO
• Movement inside a decentralised world
• Basic combat (with health points and shield regeneration)

Hey guys, Andrew Wagner here. Some of you might remember me being a big part of the Huntercoin community years ago, producing a lot of articles and videos. Unfortuantely, the team had some disagreements, and I decided I needed to focus on other projects involving blockchain-based education and government consulting. I also settled down and got married to a nice lady.

expenses, holdings, etc - are not public. Typhon Ltd (Holding Company), and Autonomous Worlds Ltd (Trading) are private companies and we are not a foundation.

we have a very lean team, each with their own skillset, thus a low burn rate, yet are pumping more and better stuff out then anyone else in the space from what we can tell <3

IMPORTANT UPGRADE: XAYA ELECTRON V1.2.3

Xaya Electron wallet v1.2.3 adds in some fantastic features for better gameplay and is REQUIRED for the Taurion competition. This update adds a zmq option which allows our new library and thus Taurion to provide real time information as soon as a player does a tx (checks memory pool and notifies client instantly).
