Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

From the screenshot everything looks fine, you have connections and no error message.

You should probably update your wallet to 1.2.4. During the installation process you will be asked, if you want to download the blockchain, click NO there: https://github.com/xaya/xaya_electron/releases

Nice meeting with Ubisoft. It's a good news for everyone. What's this project, if you play their game you'll get XAYA?
That's really a good news, it will be more interesting because Ubisoft is one of the famous gaming platforms, this will have a big positive impact on XAYA.
I'm sure, it's not like what you think. Read it here https://xaya.io/about/ it will help you understand what's XAYA and what he is about.

You could convince someone to bet against you at Xayaships. All bets are denominated in CHI.

Blockchain Gaming: The Good, the Bad, the Ugly, And All Their Intersections

Quote
Blockchain Gaming: What you need to know

Blockchain technology has been able to change the way we live, in more ways than one. The biggest of companies are beginning to adopt it, while even governments are now studying how they can leverage on it to become more effective.

But there’s a multibillion dollar industry that’s ripe for disruption. Video games.

Blockchain gaming promises many benefits for the gaming industry, but most of all it benefits the players themselves.

True ownership, decentralized games, provably fair gameplay, acquiring crypto through gameplay (play-to-earn), global leaderboards, censorship resistance, and no infrastructure to manage for the developers, are just a few of the touted advantages.

While all of that is great, the evolution of blockchain gaming hasn’t been so pretty. Several issues that weren’t anticipated have affected the growth of blockchain games, and they threaten to stifle the evolution of this important aspect of the blockchain space as a whole. In short Blockchain Games have just not lived up to their mainstream cousins so far, but there is hope.

BULK REGISTER AND SEND NAMES

I've written a utility to bulk register names and bulk send names to a CHI address.

You can find it here:

https://github.com/RenegadeMinds/XayaNameUtility

It's fully open source and WTFPL licensed for maximum freedom.

This is NOT an official part of the Xaya project. It's just a simple utility that I wrote to make life a bit easier for managing names.

You can register 10s or 100s or 1000s of names very quickly and easily. The hardest part is just creating a text list of names, 1 per line.

So, if you want to squat on a bunch of variations on a game account name, this is an easy way to do that.

If you find it useful, let me know.

ATOMIC TRANSACTIONS

If you've ever wondered how atomic transactions in Xaya work, wonder no more. This tutorial shows exactly how:

https://github.com/xaya/xaya_tutorials/wiki/Atomic-Transactions

SUMMARY:

  • Get data required for transaction
  • Create the transaction
  • Each party signs the transaction and 1 party sends it to the network

That's the high level overview. If you'd like to get into the nitty gritty, check it out on our documentation and tutorial wiki on GitHub.
