I imagine the distribution to the Waves wallets will be so much faster and cheaper than to the Ether wallets. Waves move so quickly and the fees are so cheap and so simple.

Actually, Waves processes a surprising number of transactions a day. The ratio is far less than 35x. More like only 8x less than Ethereum right now. Waves is almost equal to ETC right now in number of tx a day. I'm a member of Waves slack and lots of folks have been tracking this with great interest. It won't be long until Waves catches up with Ethereum in terms of number of tx a day.

A few weeks ago it was 20k (Waves) to 150k (Ethereum).

Just the capital though, I think I saw 1.8m/24hr for Waves while Eth had about 800m. Too tired for maffmatix but even at 250/eth aren't there more huge, time consuming transactions on ethereum right now as more and more join it?

how will there be any real arbitrage? wouldn't the Wave-tokens update in real time with the eth-tokens? or fast enough that it'd be pointless to try and trade back and forth to catch a .005 USD difference?

I'm obviously not sure but figured they'd just be pegged to each other, not sure why they wouldn't be. Same asset, different chain

yeah I guess I wouldn't see why not. the reason they always say don't use exchange addresses is because they always set up specifically for ethereum, golem, etc. so the address WILL accept the deposit they just wont go through the hassle of getting it to you afterwards.

but incent address is already up on bittrex! I think I'll do that too...

I count it as a loss because even when trading begins the price will not reach 9x its current value. That's roughly what has to happen for me to profit even a little. I've held coins for periods of over 1 year(I have 3 coins right now I've not touched for that long), and I may do that with this coin. All I said is right now its a loss and I will probably exit early to minimize the loss. I have a shit ton of stuff going on and the ICO was taking so long I honestly didn't keep up with it. I have 3 other ICOs i'm already involved with, this was my smallest involvement. Every ICO i've been involved with has made me money accept this one. It happens, so what I'm not fucking married to the coin as you seem to be. I hope this coin and tech succeeds, its great for developers! I'm just telling you I'm not sticking around.

If you put ANY money into this ICO, I would bet money it's going to triple. Just look at any other decent ICO's so far. So there's no way you're going to lose money. It doesn't exactly make sense that you'd have to have ANY token go x9 in value to make ANY profit...wouldn't you just need 1.5x or so?....

The distribution method is definitely bad and untrustworthy, even if they said they had stated it in the white paper.

For a successful IPO, the most important thing are trustworthiness and transparence.

You could use a time-stamped method, however, you should indicate the price at the same time, just like Storj did. The investors could figure out their coin amount easily and no dispute would arise.

Or you could just use a bitcoin or Ether alignment method, and the investors could figure out the coin amount easily.

For the method the Mobilego chose to use, the investors have to rely on the calculation of the development team.

Lol no one can be so sure...even if the team had some billion dollar deal the next day, even then they couldn't be sure the price would go up.

BUT I bet you in 2-4 months it will go up 10x...

I've sent to and followed like 4 or 5 ICOs this year, and the trend is pretty clear, especially if it's a sub dollar token. 76 cents might make ot take a bit longer to multiply significantly, but it will multiply nonetheless, and it might not affect it at all. But I know many of the 1+ tokens have doubled after a month, maybe tripled by 2nd month.

The ones that were .08 a token have gone up 6x in 2 months
