They do not have $53 million. They never gave audited accounts so nobody except the owners know how much they have left. As a wild guess I would say they have less than a million US$ left and they cannot do much with it.

If the team is so concerned about the listing then they need to do a free distribution of tokins for voting to all comers. It looks like they want to do their work with someone else's hands.
