I do not see any official news, so if anyone says that bitcoin has defeated gold of course this is our opinion as a bitcoin user, if we measure from marketcap then bitcoin has not reached 0.0001% of marketcap gold.

We can not say that bitcoin has defeated gold, if we calculate marketcap bitcoin vs gold of course is still very far and gold is bigger than bitcoin, it is certainly a logical consideration for us to divide money into several types of investments including gold.

I agree, somehow it is not that bitcoin defeats gold because this two are the most valuable material in this world. These are differential bitcoins is an online digital currency and while gold is a physical reserve material that is widely known and use in all nations. Both is good and gold has not defeated as long as it is expensive.

Gold is considerable acceptable by public, and utmost of  people want to have some gold as their jewelry. But you don't understand Bitcoin can fork to more coins. Bitcoin Cash is the solution for the limited supply of Bitcoin. Why do a fork coin like Bitcoin Cash have high price? Why does Gold can be polapar like that? It does not have higher value than Bitcoin, but the fact, there are more people using Gold for many fields, from building materials to expensive jewelry. Beside that, Gold has more times used than Bitcoin too much, since thousands of years ago.

Its a pretty large market cap when you looks at the worlds fiat currency, vs crypt and vs gold. It has def moved up since this thread was born though, maybe at 1% now vs fiat?

I dont think so if bitcoin will defeated gold. Because we all k ow gold is much expensive unlike bitcoin the value of this is not stable. But everybody can own bitcoin even if small amount to start to earn more bitcoin.

Exactly bitcoin cant defeated gold all in all. Maybe when it comes to price especially when it price pump before new year. But when it comes to other aspect still gold was ahead to bitcoin. Yes we dont need to compare the two which was ahead among them because it different aspect sometimes bitcoin was ahead and vise versa. I think it will never happen that bitcoin defeat gold fully. Why? Because gold was a strong type of curremcy which already exist many years ago compare to bitcoin. And not only because bitcoin price was huge that doesnt mean that it already defeated gold.

I don't think you are right bro to say that gold was defeated by bitcoin. People around the globe under modern times knew that gold has no equal, the value never been decreasing but the as time goes by it is increasing and everyone loves to have it. Also there is no chance for the gold to lose the value. Unlike bitcoin that has a chance that its power over all cryprocurrency can be taken by other altcoin. Also remember that gold already exists from the past up to this modern world and there is nothing that can defeat it.

I will probably support you. Bitcoin and gold are two different things. You cannot ever say that BTC defeated gold or vice versa. They exist separately, and both have their pros.

Bitcoin as a result of government efforts to take control of Bitcoin has lost quite a value. In the face of this situation, many big investors have escaped from Bitcoin. Now Bitcoin 'shall be not more than our expectations, but it will surely come to the old values.

I guess there is no winner whenever it comes to any forms of investment for investors, in my opinion, both bitcoin and gold is an assets to me, and I do invest my funds in both bitcoin and gold at the moment, as I believe it is always better to diversify your investment into different areas.

It is a rather unfair comparison. What we should be comparing is the market caps of gold and bitcoin. And I think there's quite a bit more gold in terms of the market cap out there still.

Gold is not only use for holding purpose, but people also use gold for making jewelery which not only use the rich people but even the poor people have the trend to use jewelery. On other side holding gold is better for saving our money because of the stable price of gold, while only the investors will like to invest money in bitcoin as they can get good profit from there.
