I sent my 42 zen to a wallets receiving address. Only after that I realized that the syncing was not done but showing nan. So did I lose them forever? I like to think I just need to set up a working wallet and use the receiving address and the funds will end up there. Is it so? Gah, tried multiple wallets and eleos either seems to work but does nothing or throws errors at me. I am running windows 7 64-bit, dunno maybe I'll try another pc somewhere. Stressful. Hey guys, could anyone confirm if I will be able to receive my zen using the address they were sent to from bittrex when I finally get eleos working on this or some other pc or are they lost for ever? This is reaally bugging me, tried to get many different versions to sync today with no luck. :/ If you have private keys then you are ok, wallet is just a platform, users interface for working on blockchain. Your coins are on blockchain not in wallet. Use your keys with different wallet and you will "get them back". This could be also encouragement for team to build web wallet one like "Ether-wallet" so users dont need to use wallets on PC especily is they don't want to start up nodes.

Hoskinson talked of the cryptocurrency bubble to which he hopes will wipe out the scam coins; interesting that he’s a big supporter of Zencash.
Governments don't support anonymous currency. Zencash is or tries to be anonymous. Think about it.

Second Official Desktop GUI Wallet Available for ZenCash
ZenCash users need GUI wallets to send private transactions and private messages using Shielded Transactions (also known as z_transactions). There is now an official ZenCash version of the Swing wallet for Linux, and Windows! .....
Great...! So if I'm on an older wallet, should I just download this one and fire up? No need to migrate any wallet file, or export/import of keys, right?

Hi, thank you for your response. I already tried both, but I could not check balance of a specified ZEN address. "zenchain.info" does not have the feature, and "zenmine.pro" has the feature but not working, it shows 0 ZEN although I have more than 50 ZEN. I think you'd better to release the official explorer which works well.

A different question: The "encrypt" option is greyed out. I can't encrypt my wallet.

Well, look at the entire market. It's not just Zen. Zen will make a recovery. The devs are pushing out a lot of stuff this week. Check it out if you haven't already.

I'm watching almous entire crypto scene and all coins slowly going down probably because of uncertainty about August and Bitcoin. Whales will get coins for free as always thanks to dumpers and nothing will change. BTC will go up again, as majority of alts. And all this is not the first time.. ZEN will recover its price as soon as situation satles and when nodes starts with work.

Dead currency.
Probably because there is no activity and developer team does not responding. Wait, you are in the wrong thread probably, because nobody shares your opinion here. We are all on waiting mode in expecting some good news from the team. Dead currency.
Useless post No, he will open his eyes one day and will realize what chances he missed.

Useless post No, he will open his eyes one day and will realize what chances he missed. The team already gave good news. Zen got bad launch it's true, but when you see the team now, the work that is going to be made, the futur launch of masternodes, how can you think that it's a dead currency ? It's just a young currency with bad beginning but experienced team with a lot of things to do. Price doesn't reflect the backside work. Yes, I think he will open his eyes one day...

Guys don't worry about the trolls. They're entitled to their opinion. Remember DASH, they just let the trolls troll, and got on with the future of their coin. I think we'd be well advised to do the same.
It's looking like cryptos are hitting a bear market for now, ZEN will be no more exempt from that than any other coin, but we can work to be stronger than others on the other side if we do end up in one. Could see ZEN even outperform in a bear market.

This is good news, the new wallet. What are people's experiences, are you using it working fine? I ask because my ZEN is sitting on Bittrex (should take it to a private wallet really I suppose).
