bittrex wallet disabled Huh

Just usual maintenance.

Bittrex support just copied and sent FAQ section about maintenance. No additional info what is the reason of maintenance and how long it will propbably take... For last 24hrs they are just ignoring tickets and not responding what caused so long maintenance. I'm stuck with exchanging my proceeds. Maybe somebody from Zen team will think about adding coin to other exchanges too?

Problem is that bittrex's support is not responding or just sending proper faq topic which says almost nothing. As far as I'm aware you will be able (I have about 20 ZEN "stuck in the middle") to receive your coins because last block height synced in bittrex wallet is 132510. After they will finish maintenance it should sync blockchain. But when or if it will happen... nobody knows

Never said they're bad. Just they lack in customer service, that's all. I would recommend it either way to anybody wanting to trade or simply exchange coins.

What's that got to do with bittrex? The problem is in this fucking coin. The developers did not even bother to publish peers for the connection and it was necessary to find where to connect the daemon. Where is addnode?

 In this situation, when pool is the block explorer to which most wallets are connected the appearance of the fork is natural. And it happened.
My pool stuffed a bunch of blocks in a separate branch near the block 132510

But it will be accepted that branch in which there is a pool with an block explorer
It seems that a bittrex wallet was also in the same branch.

Every good pool have important warning, you should not use exchange address for direct mining rewards..I presume this is not the case.
Wallets no matter if they are on your computer or they are on exchanges are just interface to blockchain, and your coins are "there on chain" indipendantly of Bittrex current status.

Second Official Desktop GUI Wallet Available for ZenCash

ZenCash users need GUI wallets to send private transactions and private messages using Shielded Transactions (also known as z_transactions). There is now an official ZenCash version of the Swing wallet for Linux, and Windows!

The Swing wallet supports the full features of ZenCash, including private transactions and messaging.

The Windows version is available for download, and includes a .exe file that can just be clicked on and run. No separate binaries need to be installed and run, it is a complete package.

Windows Swing Wallet for ZenCash: https://github.com/vaklinov/zencash-swing-wallet-ui/blob/master/docs/Release_0.70.3.md

For Linux the Swing wallet is run as a java -jar file. Instructions and download are here: https://github.com/vaklinov/zencash-swing-wallet-ui

http://pad.supernet.org/BarterDEX-Krazy

JSON FormatBelow is the format of needed to add the coin to the BarterDEX:

{"coin":"LTC", "name":"litecoin", "rpcport":9332, "pubtype":48, "p2shtype":5, "wiftype":176, "txfee":100000 }

base58Prefixes[PUBKEY_ADDRESS] = std::vector<unsigned char>(1,0x55);
base58Prefixes[SCRIPT_ADDRESS] = std::vector<unsigned char>(1,0x7a);
base58Prefixes[SECRET_KEY] =     std::vector<unsigned char>(1,0x1c);

I saw some previous posts about blocks getting into the wrong branch. Does anyone know when the polo and bittrex wallets will come out of maintenance? They usually state that it's the coin devs who have to fix something, so how do we ask them what the expected timeline for a fix is?

Quote
Reconciling Replays and Reimbursing Victims

finpunk community support, news   replay attack, zen, ZenCash   0

One of the biggest challenges in doing a chain split is to protect against replay attacks, which are transactions on one chain being maliciously or fraudulently replayed on another blockchain. Blockchain splits leave two chains that are similar enough to each other to face this issue.

ZenCash (ZEN) suffered 26 replayed transactions within the range of blocks 110,002 to 120,600, after which code updates ended the threat.

We take this very seriously and find it unacceptable that users suffered losses to either mistake or malicious attack, therefore we’re reimbursing all known victims.
Here’s What You Need to Do

If you believe you’re a victim of one of these replayed Tx, please do the following:

    Amount lost, ZenCash address, and txid(s) if you have it.
    Sign and broadcast a message from the victimized address and send me the message and hash output so I can verify, or
    Send a small amount from the victimized address to znmnQvkytYdVp9GqGCtbDeFxy2uf5AcXR4k

In either case, send the information to me at rob@zensystem.io. Note that if you choose to sign a message from the address, you do not need to send any funds from it to prove it’s yours.
How to Sign a Message on ZenCash

From the command line you can use the signmessageRPC command:

./zen-cli signmessage "address" "message"

The message can be anything you want, but I have a preference for cool things such as “I heart Zen”. Here’s an example:

./zen-cli signmessage "znmnQvkytYdVp9GqGCtbDeFxy2uf5AcXR4k" "I heart Zen"
IKIu0911DxilC2Vl58PkuE0AuF1VUN12Y5ewrZIkaprzFshdd8ukJuBlYtIaxiWTGC+Y4QVSQIWfSqHw2NNvMK0=

I’ll need all of the information above to verify that you are, in fact, the owner of the victimized address. This means I need the address, your message exactly as input, and the hash output.
Resolution

As soon as we can verify that you are the owner of one of the victimized addresses, we will disburse funds within 24 hours. Our deepest apologies to anyone who suffered loss, but we are committed to supporting our community through the good times and the bad!

That's just it, it's not bittrex. It looks like the coin devs are fixing a "replayed transaction" issue, so my question is how long do the devs expect it will take before they indicate to exchanges it's okay to bring wallets back online.

"ZenCash (ZEN) suffered 26 replayed transactions within the range of blocks 110,002 to 120,600, after which code updates ended the threat."
