They save bitcoin for a long time because they know that the bicoins price will go not double, triple but 4-5x it's price of today. Just like 5years ago many people ignore bitcoins just look what's the value of it today many people invest bitcoin past years ago and look at them now, they're now rich because they wait for the right time. The benefit of saving for a long time is the longer you hold your bitcoin the more richer you're going to be in the future.

Well let's have that history can repeat otself, it may took too long now before it increase again into 4-5x of its value now since some countries were banning it that gives too much affect on decreasing of btc. |

Take a look at the bitcoin price chart since its introduction some years ago and you will see what the benefit of saving it for a long time was.
However, based on the previous benefits, you can hardly conclude to possible future benefits. The price could rise further but it could also decrease for whatever reasons.
you should save some of your bitcoin in part, and the rest again sold if you have a need if not yes we simapan all until waiting for higher prices The circle of the bitcoin is getting wide as the time passing because in bitcoin now a lot of people are ready to invest and to trade through bitcoin in the future bitcoin is going to be more high and the price of the. Btc is very good to be stored safely for a long time, every year the btc value will increase and can give higher profit.

In my opinion, maybe they are waiting for the right time to sell, for example: 1. The development of Bitcoin is experiencing a very high price increase, 2. the whole reason why people store their bitcoin in their wallet because they save it for the high price of bitcoin. the fluctuating value of bitcoin is the main reason why many are attracted to invest to it. so if the equivalent of btc increases that you have saved will surely increase in value. |

Let's wait what happen's next. I guess the majority in the forum anticipating multiple increase in the future, but there are also tendency to decrease such as some certain conditions, like what happen to China, They are banning bitcoin's, which causes a negative impact in terms of its value in stock market , How about some country will follow.. And i'm trying to figure out the value of bitcoin when this things happen..

There's nothing wrong about thinking that storing btc funds is an investment in it self, yet it remains a risky ones since financial/political events can highly affect it's value (like events in china now and btc dropping to 3.6k ) . While storing fiat is safe but you can't get gains from, storing btc can either euin you or make you way richer . It is a choice that holders must make with keeping in mind that in any day everything can go south .

Cause I think they have the idea that probably sooner bitcoin will raise its value, but the thing is holding bitcoin is one of profitable aspexts of investing here in bitcoin, you do nothing with your money and yet its growing so it is essentially stated that maybe sokner it may double the price that you habe gaim for the prior campaigns or investment that you have. |

This is the common strategy of Bitcoin investors, this is easier and less risky than trading, but still, the profit is good with this strategy. Not only that bitcoin is crashing at the moment but the longer we hold the more bitcoin needs to crash to affect you, so holding for a long time not only gives you profits it also gives to you the opportunity to be unaffected by the rapid changes of price that bitcoin has. |

Yes I agree with this, bitcoin prices will be felt if we save for long term (at least 2 years). so if we are just starting bitcoin investing then I recommend to not too often see the price.

Unlike cash in bank when the longer you save, the value of it is diminish because of inflation, the opposite happens in bitcoin. Due to the popularity of bitcoin, it has been continue rising does giving big returns to the one who is saving it storing it in his wallet. Cash in bank can have an interest of 0.50% annually while in bitcoin you can have 10x return of the amount you save just like what happen to the price last year compared this year. Difference in interest is so massive that's why many are thinking that it is scam if they will not research more what it is about. As for me, I store some bitcoin for the long term because like what happen nowadays, bitcoin price went down so if I think of saving it for a short term, maybe I will be one of those people who panic sell but since I am saving for the long term and I believe bitcoin will rise again and reach new high, I just hold it. |

look at how bitcoin prices move, you can see graph of improvement over the past few years. if you notice the bitcoin price continues to increase, this is what we can use smartly. we can benefit from selling bitcoin that we have because we can get bitcoin at a cheaper price before.
In short time bitcoin has achieved a lot of value and importance because in bitcoin you don’t need to do work all the day just take your bitcoin keep it in your wallet and save it for long time, one of my friends having bitcoin and when he bought the price of the bitcoin was not so high and today the price of the bitcoin is nearly equal to the double of the amount he invested and still he want to keep it save for more time to get more profit. Yes, I also think in the same way. Without any job and hurdles and facing obstacles and the rude behavior of your boss, it is much better to buy bitcoin and hold them in your blockchain wallet and earn money. As we all know that in 2009 the price of one bitcoin was just a few dollars and now in 2017 the price of one bitcoin is about 4600 dollars. Now you can imagine the benefit for holding bitcoin for a long time. |
