Until this year, at the early of this year, some devs come back to build the new version wallet again but just update alpha version for testing, no official release to replace the old wallet. So, "excellent software and a good development team" is wrong, the devs of Dogecoin gave up this project since 2015.

They have given up this project for a long time but until now dogecoin is alive because people still have faith in dogecoin. I personally see dogecoin as shitcoin because the liquidity of dogecoin is very low and their development team just need to create lots of coin to be able to sell earn money. The rate of dogecoin inflation is very high up to 155 billion coin and this is a very large number. The best advice is to stay away from dogecoin

But all the stats and graphs on the market and the stock market just say that this coin will die soon.
I do not understand why people create this. It feels like it's a stupid joke. Do not invest in it. But at least you should be sure what you are doing.

now Dogecoin fixed their price and almost stand still, but when bitcoin goes up or down the Dogecoin will go in price, as there will be demand for a coin and the price will go along with this demand up, because nobody will want to pay exorbitant commissions when withdrawing to fiat.

Yes, I agree with the author. Dogecoin is a great coin for transactions and exchange! I like this coin very much too! It is a pity if this coin will cease to develop and exist

It's true, but those coins don't have the market cap that DOGE does. It's been within the top 20 for a long time now, I think the trust, speed and the ultra low fees (even a 5 DOGE withdrawal fee isn't that bad) will keep DOGE around for a while.

Maybe. But, I've seen so many coins out there which are much faster and cheaper than Dogecoin. Don't get me wrong, but DOGE has gone a long way ever since it was created. It's just that other altcoins are much better and can do more than Dogecoin itself. I think that what's keeping Dogecoin alive as a cryptocurrency, is its own community. Imagine when Reddit shuts down as a service, Dogecoin will be doomed because its supporters hang in there.

Therefore, even if Dogecoin is fast, or cheap, it won't have any serious future, other than being used as a speculative cryptocurrency or as a tipping tool. I just hope that development would rise again for this coin, so that it could shine among the rest of the altcoins in the market today.

I'm sure that dogecoin does not have a future. This coin is used only by speculators and it has become popular because of the beautiful name. It seems that only owners of dogs buy it.

Dogecoin once came into the market and really had a great future no doubt it was accidently found and due to its name many people have invested it and for many people it became the favourite one being old since 2013 people have really got its trust in investing money there
But if now i see the dogecoin doesn't hold the future at all it has been in demand but now it really exists in the people anymore.We can't be sure if it's investments will be going to give you some profit or not as the market name as been totally demolished so if you are thinking to invest in it then you might stuck your money there.
