I tried to install the wallet on a Linux system but without success. Basically, I have a wallet on my Win 7 OS all working correctly, but fews days ago I installed some Win 7 updates and since I can not boot anymore LOL I guess it's message from microsoft telling me something? For me now, no microsoft anymore! I am using a dual boot system, so from the second partition I tried to use Wine to install solaris wallet but not able. Reading @starl1ng it seems more difficult than that.

Well, it's not hard actually, for me at least, but i used to compile lots of stuff like miners, wallets, etc. You just need to clone the github repo, ensure that all required package are installed and compile it. Usually, all repos have Readme.md file with requirements and instructions.

In case of solaris wallet, (assuming you have all packages installed) you need to run

git clone https://github.com/solariscoin/solariscoin.git
cd solariscoin
qmake-qt5
make -j 5      -  number of CPU cores +1, in my case, core i5 with 4 cores, does not affect the result but greatly speeds up the compile

After some time, if everything goes ok, you'll have solariscoin-qt executable file, which is a solaris wallet qt application.

But, as i said, their wallet is probably outdated on github, it is v 0.4.4 BETA (as said in README), it relates to miniupnpc v1.6, and fails to compile with newer version of miniupnpc, but even if you compile it, it doesn't connect to other nodes.

Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

* Sorry guys, my bad. Linux wallet works for me (somehow, socks has been enabled in client settings). But anyway, i had to create solariscoin.conf file, or start it with -addnode or -connect parameter.

You can try to remove peers.dat from you solariscoin data directory, so wallet would try to discover nodes again. Or, you can look for nodes here http://explorer.solariscoin.com:3003/network and add them to you solariscoin.conf file.
Like:
addnode=185.183.99.171
addnode=185.183.99.19
addnode=.....
addnode=.....

Thanks @starl1ng good if it worked. I am a total newbie with GNU/Linux system, so it's a bit hard to me. I will however try reading to figure how do it.  It will be nice if I can use Solaris wallet on my Ubuntu. But would be much easier if I could recover my Windows 7 partition. I know that from Grub I can use the Recovery Windws option, but I also know it will kick out the Grub, and nothing will boot at the end LOL. I remember it happened to me before, and I found the solution accidently, with Boot repair, or something similar

There's nothing you can't do with some time and effort Smiley I don't use Ubuntu, but i could help you if you have any questions.

It's going well for me at Cryptopia. If you place an order under the XLR value then you can wait a long time. Nobody is going to sell you XLR under the market value. It''s like if you place an order to buy Bitcoin at 200$ while the actual value at the time you place your order , is at 2500$. Who is going to sell 1 bitcoin at 2000$ while the value is 2500$
