What a good news to see the bitcoin price recovering again. I was a bit worried about the price going down last week, but everything is coming back to the normal again, finally. However we will just have calm when the hardfork idea fails and don't happen.

If you have spend more than an year in bitcoin then why you are worrying about the price as from about one year we are seeing situations like that the price of bitcoin start to rise and then in the way it drop a little and then once again start to increase and in that way the price of bitcoin is increasing because of that I am not worry about the price.

Probably he bought another batch of BTC at its peak, that is the reason why he is worried about Bitcoin price crashing.  I just hope is not shaken by the previous dump and sold his BTC at its low coz I am sure he will be at a lost.  Just have patience, Bitcoin had a history of recovering and breaking its ATH even if it take another year.  Just hold on your stash tightly so that you won't lost it when the journey of Bitcoin to the moon starts once again.

Now that the buggy unlimited fears are going away the price is recovering. Looks like the market values a bitcoin that says how it is more than buggy unlimited even if we are stuck without segwit, but segwit up = price up is a clear metric now.

From what I could tell, the reason for the price drop was because of the threatened fork. I'm not worried about it so much because I don't think it will actually occur, but a lot of people were.

I think hardforks are normal to upgrade bitcoin which softfork can not do.  It is the way to go when everything fail, even satoshi stated that hardfork can happen.  And I think we already experienced a hardfork in Bitcoin chain.  And as a result, a stronger and more value Bitcoin had emerged.  Though with this rumored hardfork, I do not know if this will actually help Bitcoin.

We don't need a hard fork, everything wrong with bitcoin today can be fixed with soft fork. We don't even need bigger blocks right now.
There is problem with how data is allocated in the blockchain - All legitimate uses of the blockchain currently amount to approximately 750k/block average.
Just look at how  community is divided over the eventuality of forking bitcoin, uncontroversial hardfork is impossible

I refer to real community here. To be honest, there is no such division whatsoever. This is what we are led to believe by a small number of rogue miners and paid shills. This is an absolute truth because an absolute majority of Bitcoin full nodes (the total number of which exceeds 30 thousand units) support SegWit. I don't know what other proof one may need to understand how insignificant the BU support actually is among active Bitcoin users and how vocal the shills should be

Yes it definitely recovered from the very sudden drop of price and right now the price is rising higher up to $1500, and everybody will be happy if it will be performing good as they expect for another weeks. With the history of price uncertain journey most of us doesn't lose hope and in fact many were buying that time while the price is cheaper, and now their profit will be better for future of holdings.

As I see it, anything above 1,200 dollars per coin would be a new ATH range

It is now clear that 900 dollars is the new mighty support level at and below which a huge number of buy orders are (would be) placed, and it would require something really extraordinary and dramatic to crash through this amount of support (e.g. a hard fork coming about for real). And 1,200 dollars most likely is going to become a new resistance level as well, though the latter in not a given. Yes we can see the price at $1,200 before the week ends because of the continue rising price in the different exchangers and i think the real investors are keep buying now because they also believe that bitcoin is the best for long term and the price of $2,000 per bitcoin is very possible before the end of this year.
