Good news and more buy pressure than sell pressure. Simple economics. Once the team gets some hype going and people see value in buying more of the coin than holding price will go up.

I would say we've been pretty stable in value when you compare it to the onslaught on other coins during the BTC boom. I think you're likely staring at btc values while almost every coin has been dropping compared to btc and often by much more. The large dump of many coins has not really happened for Viacoin:



Please refrain yourself from fudding coin forums because you expect to get rich quick. Only longterm HODLers really make it. Don't panic and sell yourself and VIA short.

BTC is on steam. Most crypto is in bear mode. Falling wedges from Alts vs BTC. Investors need to have patience. At some moment crypto could join BTC rally like in altspring, but most likely BTC has to pop first. In the meantime I have the impression the VIA-team is working hard: dev work, marketing, infrastructure. My guess is, we could see some surprises and VIA may become a frontrunner in crypto. Not many are aware what are the implications of colored coins, lightning, Mast, implicating that VIA may become not just a currency, but a platform. I am very curious what will be the result of it all and wish the team all success and inspiration. Following it all with great interest!

Following development of Viacoin since march, it is impossible for me not to acknowledge what an incredible job dev has done and how fast old roadmap was complete. I guess via is evolving so fast, that even market can't keep up.  Which is why it is still most undervalued coin in my book.

I must say all the features of VIA look very promising, lightning network already active is huge! But is there any staking rewards or masternodes available? or is it only mining coin with gpu?

Via's ANON (Styx) solution-please help understand the efficiency of the tech compared to others like stealth address/zk-snarks/zk-starks/coinshuffle/tumblebit

1) HI there, can anyone please explain shortly how VIA's Styx/Anon privacy solution is comparing with other established ones like abovementioned -> regarding both

- a) achieving actual privacy/anonymity and

- b) making identification or tracing infeasible)?

2) Is there any flaw within Styx or any sophisticated way to analytically unmask real addresses behind transactions?

3) And any timeline when Styx will actually be implemented? For several months there is no progress in the official roadmap relating Styx.

4) And can Styx' solution be sort of "plugged into" and be used by other blockchains, providing for example also ethereum or bitcoin "privacy as a service"?

Buy high sell low, seems like a reasonable approach.  You bought on the major 2017 alt run up, you could literally be on any coin and copy paste your comment.  Understanding markets and market timing has no relevance of if you should or should not believe in this coin or any other for that fact.  How do you think the people that caught the run up of bitcoin in late 2013 and sold in 2015 feel now
