Lot of code added in the last 48 hours.
I will do a follow up post later.

We are definitely moving forward now ! Smiley
So in those last 48 hours we have been working to fix merged mining and find the existing bugs.
You can see the commits on Github.

I'm not sure how to explain it all to "non crypto programmers".
But the development is definitely going well. The other dev is very productive too.
That's great to hear. Who is the other developer? Or does he want to stay incognito for now?
incognito but that makes it more mysterious right ?  Smiley

Or makes everything look less trustworthy... one of the two

Maybe I'm looking at the wrong repo, most of the commits seem to do nothing at all and some are just constant changes, not much coding IMHO.

98% pre-mine? Why do people still own this coin? I sold as soon as I found out and the shady devs wouldn't answer about it.

This coin was distributed by ICO

If I remember well 10 million coins were pre-mined and sold as ICO, I wonder what drak did with the money, it was certainly not invested in further development of the coin. Anyway this has nothing to do with the current devs.

Check out these awesome Viacoin paper wallets made by Polymerbit:

https://www.polymerbit.com/product-page/alt-polymerbit-100-viacoin

Will post some pics here once mine arrive.

So basically $9 worth of Viacoin for $15? I'm not familiar with the rest of the offering, so not being a smartass here, just genuinely interested why you would buy this Smiley

It's a paper wallet made from high quality polymer, limited to 100 notes. These notes are printed using a high-end printer. They can be used as a cold storage (or gift) for Viacoin but it is mainly meant as a nice collectible. Polymerbit's notes are highly appraised in the collectibles market and they have proven to become (rare) collectible items. Check out my recent auction, where I sold 2 notes for 0.13 BTC: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1970166.0

Edit: 100 VIA will be worth a lot more in a few months btw Grin.

9 dollar now in via is $300 in 2018 value indeed. :-D

You dream

I see a few changes and additions like CheckAuxPowValidity(), you can hardly call this a lot of code added.
But lets give the devs the benefit of the doubt and hope that the bugs in 0.13 are fixed within a couple of days.

10$ should be possible by end of the year but hey who knows this is crypto nobody can predict the future. But there is some big stuff coming from the roadmap and there are bigger rumors at whats to come after that
