In connection with today's fall, the question arises, why fell, if he is independent of BTC, and everything is so good? Or they deceive us, and - VIA - one of the numerous shitty coins?
You sir are an idiot, you do realize pretty much the entire market fell. I would learn how markets work before you comment again because it looks pointless and dumb when the rest of the crypto world saw "the market" and not just via dump yesterday

Vialectrum 3.0.2 works together with an improved VialectrumX server.
To do: - small bug fixes for verified payments. - get an vialectrumX TOR server running for more privacy - small cleanups - get some extra people to test it. - build the binaries for (.exe/ .setup)

Another thing, I've been looking at is Bech32 adresses for $VIA All addresses will start with "via1" Reason for switching to an bech32 address format? ---- - Base58 needs a lot of space in QR codes, as it cannot use the alphanumeric mode.
- The mixed case in base58 makes it inconvenient to reliably write down, type on mobile keyboards, or read out loud.
The double SHA256 checksum is slow and has no error-detection guarantees. - Most of the research on error-detecting codes only applies to character-set sizes that are a prime power, which 58 is not.
- Base58 decoding is complicated and relatively slow.
Included in the Segregated Witness proposal are a new class of outputs (witness programs, see BIP141), and two instances of it ("P2WPKH" and "P2WSH", see BIP143). Their functionality is available indirectly to older clients by embedding in P2SH outputs, but for optimal efficiency and security it is best to use it directly. ------- I heard rumors that Ledger will support bech32 for bitcoin & maybe Viacoin on the second generation Ledger S & Blue.

well below its value. you will soon come to the places you deserve. If you ask where the place is the first face in the market.

There is work being done on that end but might take into the 2018 time frame for that to come out and be fully developed. Glad you found via early enough though, enjoy the ride

The remaining 82 million VIA will be distributed as block awards over the next 24 years; what is the specific reward mechanism?

No hype like that first dev. Nothing but solid, steady developments coming from Romano. I definitely encourage people to take a look at this coin if they haven't already (or if they did back in the day but haven't since the new dev).
Romano clearly cares about the coin!
Yes that's true. I've been reading here for months and I always see that Dev writes here. There are many news. This is not the case with many other coins. there are few updates. here the dev is always active. that's good, and I think that will bring the course in 2018 also far. a lot of success in the future and all the best

The portfolio shuffling will be strong with that one

If it was, I would not be allowed to make a statement until Binance would.
