Thank you for the heads up on this cheap attempt to infect an unsuspected computer of a virus that can steal the users information. I wish bitcointalk can ban users who provides suspicious links. Shame on the person who made that site that could possibly steal users private keys for his own personal gain.

So this new Minexcoin faucet have web based miner inside it? I would not recommend anyone clicking and/or spending their time to claim MNX. Deathwing's faucet is more trusted and had only few ads.

Just for the record, the faucet currently does not have any ads. Web faucet never had ads and mobile faucet only had ads up to version 1.5 (current is 1.6) and I removed all of them. No random miner software that kills your CPU too

Thanks for the information. I think MNX is promising coin now so there will be many people try to steal coins from the holders. Be careful to download any wallet from new coins. I think you'd better never download anything because I had experience my pc infected by spyware that stole my eth balance. All asset in your pc if you download any wallet will be insecure.

Everything is mathematically correct in this article but completely out of a plausible scenario.
A daily rate of 0.89% can't stay for long : It is a yearly equivalent of 2438% (approx.)

If only 100 000MNX out of 3 000 000 are parked (which wouldn't be a lot) at this rate for a year, the bank would have to pay 2 438 000 MNX in interests which is way beyond its capacity.
(For the record, the bank gets around 240 MNX a day out of mining which makes 87 600MNX a year. This doesn't count the fee on transactions).

I hope, for the sake of this project that the daily rate is going to go down by a lot soon enough.

Stop dreaming about high rates and big money and go back to real calculations if you really want to earn money.
