I'm still stuck at 28MH/s on these Sapphire IXTI Pulse cards.  All my 470's do 29.5-31.5 no problem.  Not sure what the deal is with these cards.

MSI 570 Armor & GamingX 4gb findings and questions

Both have hynix memory

570 Armor 4gb OC Best results came with copying 2:1500 to 2:1625, 2:1750 and 2:2000  I set the Undervolt in watttool to -16 and I am able to achieve 27.2 in smOS, clocks set to 1161/1975  gpu-z shows 114w

570 GamingX 4gb Best results came with copying 2:1500 to 2:1625, 2:1750 and 2:2000  I was not able to undervolt in watttool as everytime I change the undervolt value it goes back to NA  I am able to achieve 28mh, clocks set to 1161/2010 gpu-z shows 94w

Has anyone had any better luck with these cards and if so can you please share settings in polaris.

How can you edit the bios? I cant even read the memory frequency right in polaris bios editor. Im stuck in 24 MH/s

Did you copy 1:1500 and 2:1500 straps to above values (1625, 1750, 2000) or just one of them? And which OS you running?

Nice mem clock, my card fails at 2050 (Hynix too)

25 MH/s is not bad if you are seeing a decent power factor cost reduction.

... when comparing results of RX 4x0 to RX 5x0 it seems to me,
we get a little more hashes with the price
of much more energy consumtion.

I will not gonna buy this !

... please make an educated guess !

Hello,

Are 4GB cards still profitable or should I buy 8GB versions?

Some people here are posting amazing hashrates with the 4gb cards. As I remember it was not possible with the 470 4gb cards unless they had samsung or at least hynix memory chips.

The only 470 4GB cards I have that won't do 30-31MH/s are XFX cards.  I can only get them stable to 29.

=======================================================

Having some luck with the Sapphire ITX 470 4GB.

ETH: GPU0 28.423 Mh/s, GPU1 30.816 Mh/s, GPU2 29.186 Mh/s, GPU3 30.833 Mh/s, GPU4 30.821 Mh/s

1950 / 2100 / 2000 /2100 / 2100 -- all on 1500 straps.

There is something funky with these cards I can't quite figure out.  As of right now I am blaming the driver.  I typically run 16.12.2 and have very little to no issues with my other rigs.

Voltage seems weird too.  When the miner started up I was seeing 1.0XXV.  I dropped the clock down to 1150 then back up to 1200 (afterburner) and they are all doing 0.925v now.

All the Nitro's I have are Samsung.  I have a Nitro+ that was a real pain to get hash/stability out of.  I believe it's Hynix.

It should go higher even with 1750 straps at 1900-2000mhz I would think.

Here is an example of the weird issue I have... I've had weird issues trying to run 17.4.x on 470's too.  I hope someone figures it out or the driver is fixed.

On a fresh boot and miner fired up 60 seconds later... voltages are super high.  They are set to 0.925 in my bios.  I change the clock to 1150 and the voltages drop to what they should be.  I change the clock back to 1200 and only a small bump in power is noticed.

I also have an issue when I crash a card and have to reboot... I will only have 4 cards.  I reboot 1-3 time and blam all 5 cards are back.  I've had this issue on 470's too (multiple types of boards / cards / etc).

hi, which driver do you use? i have a rig and all cards has moded bios

1x rx 480 8gb sapphire nitro oc
2x rx 470 8gb sapphire nitro oc
1x rx 470 4gb sapphire nitro oc

1x rx 570 4gb impulse

before the rx 570 with the driver 16.11.3 worked perfect but i windows 10 not recognized. rx 570 it's seen like "standard vga graphics adapter" also i tried with 17.4.3 driver rx 570 ok but other cards not recognized Sad

i tired many things.. I'm gonna mad!

lastly, i tried this;

https://www.techpowerup.com/228536/amd-bios-signature-check-re-enabled-with-relive-locks-out-polaris-bios-modders?cp=3#comments

do you know any solutions?

Good speeds!! Do OC in all gpus ?

I know its not apples to apples (hynix vs micron, and 2050 vs 2040), but you'll see my hashrates are pretty constant between RX470 and RX570.

GPU #0 = MSI RX 470 4G HYNIX     @ 1140/2050
GPU #1 = MSI RX 570 4G MICRON  @ 1140/2040
GPU #2 = MSI RX 570 4G MICRON  @ 1140/2040
GPU #3 = MSI RX 570 4G MICRON  @ 1140/2040

17.4.3 and 17.4.4 both work.   You need to install driver -- don't reboot -- run pixel patcher 1.4.5 -- reboot.
