some questions

70 mil total suply only 7 mil sold what is with the rest?

why no homepage?

escrow?

will i earn rewards if other traders copy my trades? what would be the motivation to share my trade knowledge?

thanks

This is a proof-of-work coin, so total will be 72 mil supply, but emission is only 40 eqt per 5 minutes.

10% was premined at the beginning for development fund, and now we see 6m out of the 7.2m being sold on the ICO.

You can still mine the coin as well.

This time it's different.

That is right.

And to answer your question about copy trading; yes you will earn rewards from other traders. Unlike 1broker which is an exchange itself, they are able to charge commission per trade. For us, we work on a subscription basis, so will not be possible to do the same thing. Instead, users will be able to see your public statistics such as % gain in the month and view your old trade history, and will have to pay a sum of EQT to unlock your signals, of which a portion will be paid to you.

So the motivation would be the incentive with tokens, if someone unlocks your trades, or also when you post technical analysis charts and get likes from other users.

This means that all unsold coins will be "discarded" by the exchange. This will be done by sending the coins to an address where nobody has access to the private key, hence rendering the coins unspendable forever.

What you can do is to install the local wallet into a computer that is not connected to the internet.

Generate an address, and save that wallet.dat file, and that can act as a paper wallet.

This means that at the end of the redemption on coinexchange,  40% of the BTC received will be used to place a "buy order" at 0.00002500 for 4 days.

As we have been discussing over the past day on the telegram group, there seems to be a strong interest in implementing Masternode tech into the EQT token.

Judging from today's discussions, it would require roughly 50-60k EQT to be eligible to be a masternode, with rewards of about 1 EQT per 2 minutes. These are just guidelines for now, and would love to hear what you have to say about this. I think a good rule of thumb would be to give access to masternodes for the top ~10% of wallet holders, which as of today would be about 35k EQT.

Although implementing MNs will require a swap to a new token, if the community agrees, we can definitely go ahead with this.

However, as shared also on telegram, there are many factors to consider for implementing tech advances onto the token. As much as we would like to have the latest tech implementations, we must also ensure it is practical and stable. E.g. it would be senseless for EQT to implement SegWit and Lighting network, when our transactions are barely anywhere near max capacity. Conducting swaps onto a new chain as and when we like is also not something we ideally want to do.

I think that it will be good to upgrade the coin nearer to launch date of the platform, which will give us a couple months to plan this implementation carefully and decide on the best path forward.

Feel free to share your thoughts below.

Masternodes always get me excited but 50/60k coins for a masternode seems too much.

How many coins are in circulation in a few months? 7 million depending on coins burned?

That means if the entire supply of coins were locked up you would only have 115-140 masternodes.

Considering you need coins to circulate, the limited amount of masternodes could be an issue.

Also take into account the support and dev's needed to implement them. It may sway you from the initial focus of the project unless you take on more team members.

I would love to see MN's but wouldn't want the project slowed down for them unless they're a huge addition to value/security.

I agree, masternode is a good idea.. will allow miners to get rewarded for supporting and keeping the network secure.

But maybe you need to lower the requirement I think 60k is too much.. Maybe something like 30k?
