I like the move to pos....but interest rate of 30% is too high and will not make for a token that will appreciate in value that much... if at all. only saving grace is its not a dpos..thanks for that.
you want a real world token with real world use...use real world rates of interest...not some gimmicky 30%
also not understanding switch of algo....both take specialized asics ...and at this point id think more people have scrypt miners than x11's...so mining scrypt seem more spread out. would think only a few people invested in x11 machines. just look at MRR maybe 130 x11 rigs for rent....while there are 450 scrypt miners for rent.
i liked this project..but with changes now i am some what skeptical
X11 runs cooler and is more efficient. Bitmain are shipping their new asic x11's in September, both rounds of sales have sold out with in hours. The demand to mine X11 coins is going to go up dramatically as miners look for coins to run their new machines on. Why will demand grow? They sell the coins and no buy them .. It brings awareness to the project that would have other wised been over looked by certain members of the mining community and the more desire they have to sell creates more pressure for this coin to get on other exchanges bringing even more attention to EQT.

When does algo switch?...is there a set date?...or is just being pushed back until x11s arrive?

The swap has been extended to the 25th. Just send them from your cryptopia wallet to coinexchange and nothing more has to be done from there. I would wait for clear confirmation from the community to withdraw after that.

Also very interested in answers to those questions... I currently have my Stratis staking on a raspberry pi, using Raspbian Jessie Pixel. Would it be possible to stake my EquiTrader on the same pi?

Hi,
Does someone has an example of config for solo mining on windows ?
Thanks
Edit : here is what I'm using now and it seems to work : ccminer-x64-2.2>ccminer-x64.exe -a x11 -o 127.0.0.1:43102 -u EZhdArca8Fi6S32q9g3EMNv1eFppVBwmtQ -p <my_pass>
is that how you bind your address to the miner when you solo mine ? I added this adress as a rpc user in the config.

If you are mining on the same machine, then yeah. you use localhost ip 127.0.0.1 and the port that you specified in the .conf file. You also want to set daemon=1, server=1, make sure testnet=0 and its a good idea to limit your rpcallowip to your subnet (127.0.0.1 specifically, or if mining from another machine on home network, 192.168.1.*). This is a pretty good reference: https://cryptocurrencytalk.com/topic/9505-how-to-solo-mine/

Thank you so much !

1. From my understanding it already changed since we're able to mine X11 right now 2. I don't see any of the pool has switched to X11 ( or at least communicated about it ) so I assume they did not. 3. I don't know
