Dev, maybe you should hire somebody that you trust to handle the remaining coin swaps. I'm guessing there will continue to be people for months (if not years) who show up with old coins. At the very least, there should be some clear instructions somewhere that explain what the old-coin holders should do. (If you need help writing up instructions, let me know.)

Maybe close this thread, eliminating from title the ticker and start a new one linking to this and including all the info since algo change, pools, algo, wallet, exchanges, how to swap the coins and so on, could be a good idea too. Salute
Regarding the coin swap, something short like this would probably do the trick. (Dev, feel free to use / edit / correct as needed.) EQT switched to a new algorithm on August 26th 2017. If you purchased EQT before August 26th 2017, then you might need to: 1) Manually swap your old EQT coins for new EQT coins 2) Download and begin using the new EQT wallet What should you do?If your EQT coins were held at CoinExchange.io on August 26th 2017, then your old coins have already been automatically swapped for the new coins. Simply download and install the new EQT wallet from https://github.com/equitrader/Equitrade/blob/master/equitrader-win.zip and you’ll be able to store, send, and stake your new EQT. If you purchased EQT from CoinExchange.io (or any other exchanges) after August 26th 2017, then you have purchased the new EQT coins. Simply download and install the new EQT wallet from https://github.com/equitrader/Equitrade/blob/master/equitrader-win.zip and you’ll be able to store, send, and stake your new EQT. If you purchased EQT prior to August 26th 2017, and if your coins were not held at CoinExchange.io on August 26th 2017, then you must manually swap your old EQT for new EQT. Please follow these instructions [Dev, enter instructions here]. +1 for this. It would avoid many questions. I think Im starting to get worried. ive received no reply from dev, not any support that is helpful from my coins left in cryptopia.. what can i do?

Dev, do you have any updates for the people who are waiting to swap their coins? Do you need help fielding the requests? If you need help, I (and I'm sure some others here) would be willing to give you a hand. It's important to take care of the early investors in this project.

Dear Dev, Also in the boat of having my coins lost, as they were on Cryptopia before 26th of august. Please let me know what to do, how to obtain those coins and manually swap if still needed? Thanks so much!! KR.

Send a pm with the proof of yours EQT balance (ask Cryptopia support), and send a pm to the dev. Personnaly, I did it, and I'm still waiting for my EQT tokens back.. but it's the only solution for the moment.

I would like to start mining EQT using MinerD however AikaPool has had " This pool is currently in maintenance mode." since yesterday. " We are investingating issues in the backend. Your shares and hashrate are safe and we will fix things ASAP. • Findblocks disabled, new blocks will currently not show up in the frontend • Blockupdate disabled, blocks and transactions confirmations are delayed" Anyone know how long this usually takes or a better way? Thanks, R

I tried a bunch of pools using minerd with no success on Windows 10 w i7
minerd -a scrypt -o stratum+tcp://new.altcoinix.com:4002 -u **** -p ****
And I just get (boooooo) for all my hashes? Just invested In EQT and I want to also mine.
Thanks,
R

EQT is X11 now, it seems you are mining on a wrong chain.

There have been a lot, my semi uneducated guess is due to the prevalence of hash power and public spotlight being on X11 coins. Stable smooth networks with a lot of miners to take interest No new algorithms anytime soon, should be the hopeful end of swaps

I think people should be grateful that manual swaps have been granted this far out.
