So in trading how do you deal with loss? For example you've invested in an alt and now it has fallen quite hard and you're on the brink of losing all your bitcoin you invested in it.
How do you actually deal with it? Do you wait and keep on waiting in hope that it will bounce back up and return your investment or you sell and get whatever left of your investment?

I  accept the fact that trade does not go well.  And look for the things I missed in order for me to trade better next time.  Any downfall in trades is a lesson learned for me.  I simply not accept it without doing any reflection on things I have done.  After pointing out my mistakes to myself is then I accept the fact of losing in the trading market.

And as the result you will realize that you should not go allin when trading.
You need a backup funds in case this worst scenario happened in the future later , yeaa you have to take it as a lesson.
Don't get angry and upset , keep optimistic and stay safe in the next session.

For me i also experience that especially in some scam coins all of a sudden being dump or lets say its not an scam alt but its normal .
I would rather sell it rather than to be a bag holder if i .So the point there is don't invest too much if you aren't ready to lose how much you invested although trading is coming with those risk but you can make lessen the risk .

learn from them!

whenever I lose money in trading I stop for a moment and start checking my trades and why I made them. I look at the charts and see where I went wrong and each time I do this, that means I won't repeat it ever again. each loss can be a lesson for you to become a little better in trading.

also it is worth mentioning about stop loss. that thing can save your life specially in altcoin market. in bitcoin if price goes down you just go into holding and surely enough price will come back up and there is no doubt about it. but in altcoins all of them are pump and dumps and that means if the price of an altcoin goes down you have to become a bag holder to a possible time in future that it pumps again.

for me it depend on that altcoin and depend on the team/project/idea behind that altcoin. if the project is promising and team is active and doing what the promised than I would choose to hold my coins. no metter if it take a year or two. but if the team found to be shady and shit. I would immediately sell my coins and try to recover as much as I can.

If be like that, I would never sell my Bitcoin/altcoin, I will still keep my funds,
because I am believe the price will bounce back up. But if it came down to 50% then I would cut loss.

I deal with loss by just ignoring and stop thinking about it continuously because it will just make me feel guilt about the wrong decision i did. I just think that the loss is just a warning or signal that i need to be careful next time and that loss will just server as a lesson for me to be a better trader soon and avoid errors or wrong decision.

If this happens to me, I don't want to be triggered with my emotion because if I will go with it, possibility that I'll be losing my temper and worst thing will ever happen. It would be better if I'll do some thinking first and if I think that coin will never go up again, it's better to sell but if there's a chance that it will pump again, I'll just hold.
If you do have trust on the coin you bought then you will surely hold but if you think of cutting loses then you would definitely sell off just as simple as that.In my case if that would happen to me i would rather choose to hold a little bit more because everytime i chose a coin they do pump in upcoming months or years.

We will never know but for me it's better to take a little time to think about it but don't take it any longer. Because there are instances that those coin will be dead very soon as those pumpers got already enough for it. And sometimes our instincts aren't correct and even we will regret to see the price is on its pump, better to sell it out for recovering.

Maybe you want to use some space for it mate?  Cheesy

Well let's go back with the topic, I'm dealing with my loss by simply comforting myself by telling, "it's fine, you can recover again". I don't take it so long that I'll bring it up as I trade. Because it will make me discouraged all the time.

If you have invested some part of your investment and if the coin is worthy then you can wait for some time or else if the coin has bottom out then you can buy more and average the price and on rise of price when you are in no profit and loss point of time just sell your 50% coin and after next high price sell balance coin.

But if you have invested fully in a shit coin then better come out of it what ever is left and take a break and come back after some time and do research on some good coin and invest it. Other then that you can do nothing else but just to digest the loss which ever happened
Yes the bet way to deal on loss on bitcoin is to have a particular investment or what so we called source on gaining bitcoin. We all know that in trading there is always a risk so in order to avoid or to lessen the effect of the risk on trading one should have a source of income and for me the best way to have bitcoin is to start on doing signature campaign here in forum. You should post in order for to earn and have a  capital for your chosen investment then work hard and always focus on your tradings.

It is inevitable to experience some lost in trading, especially when you are still beginner, just see the crowd enthusiastic, if no good response from the crowd then just sell it, but if you think there is still hope then keep it, but usually when you invest in alt coin, when it falls its hard to bounce back

I think it depends on the altcoin that you are investing in. If you are investing in a legit and stable one then there still a high chance that it will bounce back with a more expensive price. I think those altcoins that you saying that is hard to bounce back are the waste coins in the market who just used by the manipulators to create money and not the legit ones.

There are 2 things that can happen in trading.
First you invest in some trusted altcoin and the price drops and that's totally fine because there is risk involved in trading.
But this is the worst thing that can happen if we invest in some new coin and the coin doesn't get sufficient investors and all are sell orders and no one wants the coin so to recover this all we can do is let that useless coin stay in the wallet and hope it may increase in future. While for the first case we can get some bitcoins back but other case it's 90% times impossible.

This happen to me when buy altcoin that's the developer didn't develope their project again if you face this situation better to sell even you get big loss, but if the developer still develope their project wait and see for a week or month and you can make decision.

That's how most of are dealing with loss. If we think that there's no way to pump that coin or people are not interested with it anymore. Then just keep on selling those coins and don't take loss seriously because you can still recover for so many times. Because those losers that doesn't have the guts and positive attitude to recover, you will have hard time for it.

Trading with top 10 coins would be an better option instead of going for top 50 coins as there is a possibility that some of coins may disappear in future but if you trade with top 10 then there is no risk of loosing money in long run as they will surely not disappear.

That is true, just stick to the top 10 coins or altcoins in the market that has a lot of volume because it is a little bit safer rather than trading other low priced altcoins. Another tip is, don't trip too much, maybe maximum of 3 atlcoins is enough for you to get decent profit in trading rather than trading all those 10 altcoins because it will make your capital in each coin less.

Yes the best thing would be to diversify your capital in top 3 coins so even if one coin pumps you can make good profits from it instead of putting in 10 different coins where the chances of making loss would be higher.

Firstly invest only in what you understand and do not invest or gamble where you dont.
