Bitcoin leads to development of shadow economy. The Blockchain Asset Exchange Inc. (BAE) offers an extremely low-cost platform for Businesses to list on an exchange in order to create liquidity in their shares. A whole layer of banking bureaucracy is removed by lowering costs and saving time.

We all know that there is corruption everywhere, like in government or any other organization. Because of money, corruption can always happen with greedy people who always wants more money to them. Since bitcoin can be considered as money, can it also lead to corruption?

corruption will not happen if the sanctions given to the perpetrators of corruption are very heavy, corruption occurs because of the mild punishment, so that the perpetrators of the torture is not a deterrent

I guess it can but we can't blame bitcoin if it leads to corruption, Corruption is in everyone of us it just always depends in one person if he/she is corrupt. Many people are corrupt and if these corrupt people are already using bitcoin then it really is will gonna lead to corruption but we the honest user of bitcoin can prevent by using it in the right way we just need to influence those corrupt to do the right thing for the sake of all cryptocurrency.

The thing that the state fears is bitcoin used as money laundering, people will divert money from corruption to bitcoin so that money is never known. this is the basis of the state for bitcoin banned.

I think bitcoin will not lead to corruption. As it is all just equal, no high, no less. There is nothing rich and nothing difficult. All the same are all together simultaneously and will be successful in life. So whether it leads to corruption? Many do not agree with that, many would argue that there is something wrong with doing something about it. So we can safeguard our superstitions, or what we have today.

Bitcoins come with the advantages as well as the disadvantages also. And among its disadvantages,  influencing more criminala activities and corruption are one. Transactions via bitcoin are largely untraceable and lots of people can use bitcoin for money laundering and other illegal activities. Authorities lacks the requisite know how to investigate transactions using Bitcoin. Monies laundered through Bitcoin are difficult to trace and hence it aids and abet corruption unless there is some checks and balances.bitcoin is continously growing and the threat of it to influence corruption also.

Probably yes, Anything can lead to corruption. Because of the greediness for example in government they can use the bitcoin for their own purposes. We can't assure who will do this kind. But still it depends on how the person or an organization will handle it and choose only between leaving it or to corrupt it.

Any valuable thing and currency including bitcoin can be used for corruption because of human greed. Corruption will exist as long as there is human greed.

Well, of course it does.

Corruption is about giving something to somebody so that the latter owe you a favor (and generally does something for you immediatly in return).

It is not necessarily linked with money, but with money it is easy. I give you 100 dollars and in exchange, you put my resume ahead.
This is only an example, of course.

With bitcoin, transfers are checked and cannot be simply erased. So it may be easier to track evidence of corruption. But it will not delete such practice. I give you a bitcoin, you chose me a project manager for your future investment. And so on...

according to my thinking, bitcoin can be used as a tool for corruption but can not be for today. if one day bitcoin can be used in everyday life, has spread, and officially circulated, then that is where bitcoin will be used as a tool of corruption. this is because bitcoin is not known in the community and not many people know about bitcoin.
so by exchanging paper money to bitcoin, then the perpetrators of corruption can not be arrested easily because the perpetrators of corruption can hide their identity. perpetrators of corruption can also use multiple addresses to store their bitcoins. so, we will not know how much money they get from the outcome of corruption.

Yes, the mere fact that bitcoin is not govern by government and decentralized it has a big chance to used for corruption.Because no one exactly knows who are the people behind bitcoin. You cannot sue them easily because you dont know their identity.

Maybe bitcoin also lead to corruption, because it is a decentralized and anonymous system and some transaction is difficult to trace. specially to those people who are in the part of government they can use it, if they want exchange money to bitcoin, I think it will lead corruption.

Yeah with the feature :" anonymous" , the corruption will be hard to spot if they're using the bitcoin transaction, so somehow i think Bitcoin supports for the corruption.
