I do not think that corruption will exist if all the economies start using bitcoin and block chain technology as this community has the ability to eradicate corruption problems and theft by not revealing the identity of the bitcoin user's there is no chance for identity theft to ever happen in the bitcoin technology and another important feature of the bitcoin network is the duplication of bitcoins and block chain technology is not possible unlike fiat currencies in other words this technology has the ability to eradicate problems caused by corruption due to high transparency in the network and highly secure than any other modes of payments.

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

We all know that there is corruption everywhere, like in government or any other organization. Because of money, corruption can always happen with greedy people who always wants more money to them. Since bitcoin can be considered as money, can it also lead to corruption?

Bitcoin doesn't even have to be considered money to be related to or directly cause corruption. Anything with value can do this. In fact, I would argue that Bitcoin is not money (it is a commodity), and it does cause corruption. A more interesting question is does blockchain reduce the likelihood of corruption because it is generally more transparent system, but even there I would tend to doubt it. The amount of money at stake (USD, not BTC) with Bitcoin makes corruption inevitable.

The blockchain is very transparent, I agree with that, but does it provide us with information about the wallets used for corruption / bribery purposes? Of course not, and it's really great for anyone wanting to evade tracking.

the possibility of bitcoin leading to corruption is high. Corruption is always associated to money, money is to greed. Not only that, corruption may also involve corruption of time. For example, if you in your work and you are not performing your work anymore but only doing bitcoin, then you are corrupting the legal time intended for your work.

bener once that you say, because bitcoin is certainly to be made in the same money laundering the corruptors. Because the bitcoin price is always rising steadily and its value is also high that makes the corruptors interested in the bitcoin is because the price

Nothing can win the corruption. It is about people and their minds, not about money system. Even if we will have only bitcoin as a legal currency, politics and business men will find the way to hide their corruption manipulations. But lockchain can greatly reduce corruption level and improve people's lives.

Even the mother of all nations have a corruption in their hearts, the thing here is that we just cant blame the blockchain technology by the actions the leads to corruption. Everything can lead to corruption, even alts and that's how the world work. If you are worried that BTC will become a big part of terrorism, crime and drugs then even if BTC dont exists this crimes will never cease to exists. It is here even before the time of Cain and abel. Questions like this is so obvious that people are blaming things for their own actions, and thats sad that humanity lost the way of viewing things that instead of fixing themselves, they are banning something that is worth using for.
I think bitcoin is a digital currency and it’s also true that its decentralized but I believe that there will be someone who is going to operate bitcoin and he know very well about use of bitcoin so I don’t think so he will allow to use bitcoin in corruption by someone because bitcoin is here to help us and it’s not going to teach us bad things.
You can expect anything to happen in this real world. Bitcoin itself is just a crypto currency. The thing is bitcoin can be used anywhere. There are likely chances that bitcoin can be used in corruption and other illegal activities. In that case, it will not be the fault of bitcoin.

In fact, it will be the owners of bitcoin will be held responsible for using it in such kind of activities. We need to use it for betterment of society.

All currency that made in this world all of that can also lead to corruption because they are all currency and it depends on some people where did they wanna use it and what kind of method they will use to use those coins. Maybe one of that method is also corruption. I believe in every part of this world that there are always happening a corruption on each countries and we cannot hide that fact. also same to cryptocurrencies i think

That is the problem there are no owners of bitcoin we do not know who the owners of bitcoins are so we could not blame anyone at all and i believe i can get higher with this i believe i can even get higher with bitcoin then normally.

but you know that human greed can arise because of an opportunity, when the opportunity comes, surely anyone will be tempted to commit corruption especially if the financial system supports corruption? bitcoin comes with an anonymous and decentralized system I think all corruptors will utilize bitcoin,,

Yes bitcoin can lead to corruption because if someone has more than the other and that person is already rich than people will not take that and go fight that person to steal all his bitcoins and other wealth because it is not divided fairly.

Government officials are seeking to use their money in Bitcoin because only Bitcoin can track their assets. This will be very bad because they are working for the underworld

To tell the truth, Bitcoin is one of the most effective tools in the hands of corrupt officials. If they accept bribes in the form of BTC, then it can be extremely difficult to trace the transactions back to that particular individual (especially if they put the coins in cold storage and refrain from converting them to fiat).

If we are seeing about the bitcoin mixer to erase the track about our fund and that means the possibility of the bitcoin to be used by the criminals were so high. I think that this apply in everycrypto because thge majority of the crypto used the encrypted data.

Corruption is to Bitcoin like air is to a bird. It's the natural environment. Greed, lack of regulation, possible anonymity, irreversible transactions. It's a perfect formula.

As an actual ledger it can't be corrupted and that may well help reduce overall corruption elsewhere. Many things surrounding it carry a fairly nasty smell.
nice insight about the topic.thats is absolutely right corruption is part of every government no one can deny that, thats the global problem in which the people is always the victim the lofes of everybody is at stake but its different from Cryptocurrency world.this is decentralized uncontrollable we all have privacy here so i dont think corruption can be apply here not now maybe in the future we might know

I believe that bitcoin is already being used in corruption where it existed and with ordinary money. Bitcoin costs much more than other currencies and will probably be very valuable in corruption.
