Yes I think something has gotten out. Due to the type of buying witnessed. Also, added fomo of beta launch. the type of buying will come from financial sources and institutional money to buy ppt for what it can offer in interest.

My understanding was that the populous team were doing a bunch of PR now as their product is pretty much ready. That would explain the surge in PPT price as people want to get into the market but no one wants to get off this train.

The bitcoin price increase trend does not affect the price of the PPT, usually the altcoin will go down because the user switches to bitcoin, this is a good sign for the future of PPT and makes me want to buy more although the price will reach $ 40.

It went as low as .005 / ETH and hovered around $2.00 on the exchanges for a few weeks!

Definitely doctors of the crypto world!!  What kind of returns are we talking about from using the platform?  Lets say hypothetically I have 1000 ppt, I submit to an invoice for 90 days with PPT at $40. Could someone explain whats expected on return of that 1000 PPT besides getting my coins back.  I want to know what I would make off of a 1000 PPT investment on 90 days.

From my understanding, if you spent 1000 PPT worth $40, you would invest $40,000 on an invoice, or break it up amongst multiple invoices.
Now, Populous will merely host the peer to peer market, so you would have to bid against other PPT HODLers to get that contract.
Let's say you win the invoice (s) and secure $40,000 investment on a $45,000 invoice(s).

The invoices are roughly 90 days, so you'd make 12.5% in 3 months.
You would loan your tokens, which would be used for collateral against a $40,000 loan that was given to the seller of the invoice, and the $45,000 invoice - once paid - would cover the loan, the locked PPT and fiat-based-interest would be then deposited into your account.

I'm assuming there would be an auto repurchasing option, so the fiat would be used to buy more PPT, and lending would resume.

This hereby drives a cycle of ever increasing PPT value, while simultaneously providing passive income.

Although I did not believe in the project from the beginning, unfortunately, I have received less than 1000 units to distribute the investments and reduce the risk, but I could get 5000 pieces because I have been in a project that I have always believed in PPT. PPT does not know what it is doing to investigate with friends who are saying that PPT is growing so much, PPT will be a financial platform and will normally allow the simple people like you to do jobs like banknotes, The price is rising as the price is rising because the number of sellers is low because there are not too many people selling it. When it comes to beta, let's see $ 60 and more. Let's just say that there were even more than 10k PPT before signing..

Thanks a lot, that answers my question.  But is the 12.5% ours completely or does PPT take a percentage from that 12.5%?  When you really think about it, 12.5% isn't that much on a 40k loan.  That is only 5k over 3 months or roughly 55$ a day for 90 days.  You could take 5k and invest in other alts for better returns or even bet on BTC. The passive income is great to have but I thought it would be more lucrative.  Maybe it's because the example was too small.  Of course when your talking millions, that's different. Not to mention how many people you will be bidding against to get invoices. Still love the platform overall.  Been a holder since ICO and I'm loving it.  Wish I had more PPT though.

I really believe to 100 percent in this kind of idea. Invoice will be a very big thing for the cryptogame. Populous and Hive my favorite projects at the moment. There is no doubt from me about their future success.
